The guy in the backgound seems to be wearing a very nice coat!
LIKE: Lovely classic pinstripe suit. The unicolor approach is well played. The "bedhead" haircut adds a modern touch. Love the simple white pocket square. It looks like he also did a Windsor knot on his tie which is perfect for his spread collar shirt.
DISLIKE: None.

just a SMIDGE too tight in the waist otherwise a great cut. The shirt wears like it was made for that suit and check out that posture!

I love this image! There is a sense of bizarre fiction: like this guy is a beautiful android dressed in a perfect fit suit...walking Manhattan aimlessly.

I just wish you'd venture out into the other boroughs... and I don't mean going to Williamsburg or Park Slope or Fort Greene. I mean, shit, come to Flatbush or the South Bronx or Astoria. It's not all baggy jeans, fitted caps and Ups. And even if it is... some of these kids do amazing imaginitive things with colors and cuts. And they're not referring to style magazines for the tips either ;)
That's an impeccably cut suit, but he looks very stiff and uncomfortable in it which takes away from his look.

not usually a fan of double brested suits but the look on his face is awesome and the specific wild hair style is great!
I don't like double brested suits in general and his is tugging a little across his chest. BUT I do love the look on his face, his confident stride and the specifically wild hairstyle!

Great DB. I dig the length, erring on the side of shorter, especially for a DB gives it a much younger feel. The strong slant on the high peak lapels are another nice touch. Emphasizes the shoulders, slims the waist. Cool beans.

hey, its the Domenico Vacca 5th Ave. manager! I love that he is wearing a double breasted suit. It frames the body perfectly, and creates a nice upward visual flow (peak lapels). This man should be a spokesperson for young people wearing double breasted suits!

this man has his serious New York streets walk down to a T. With the shopping bag in his hand, it looks like he is walking down a DV catwalk instead of a city street.
one of the most modern versions of a double-breasted suit that i have seen in daily life. good catch.
Almost unfair this guy can dress so varied and well that he gets routinely featured on these pages. Does the shop he works in pay him so handsomely that he can buy their product - or is it provided to him? If so, hats off, because he may have one extremely privileged position. I keep believing that only the very savviest and wealthiest of men have the means and wherewithal to dress so...dare I say, highly. I'm not discounting the folks featured here that make style work with pieces that may have been salvaged or bought for a steal - man, I do that. But the material, the workmanship, and the attention to tailoring detail on this guy just screams $$$$. The rest of us have to be like Jude's Alfie and blow a paycheck on one premium piece at a time. Guy in the DB suit (which is not my thing, but hey): if you're reading this, count your lucky stars.

At first the young man in the very well-fitting suit caught my eye, but I am equally impressed with the my man in the leather jacket. It looks as if he has on black gloves with a brown jacket and a grey scarf. Not colors that I would have put together, but I like it here.

That is so F***ing COOL! I Know the Guy in the Orange coat! I'd know him anywhere with that coat, scarf, and stature... Went to college w/him.. he's a brilliant graphic artist from St.Louis, and that blonde woman walking with him is his wife (of 2 years) from Germany! Wow!!!

Mr. Suit is pretty cool too. I don't own a DB suit but used to; it was cut with a lower V which annoyed me as my tie would flop out whenever I bent over (which is why I loved that 3-button suits came into fashion then ... I guess that means that, yes, we're talking 90s here).
I've not really seen too many DB suits available, and wondered what that was all about ... and given the number of comments here from people who seem alergic to the DB, I guess it's more unpopular than I thought. I'd love to get a couple DBs to mix things up, provided the buttons are high enough to prevent the aforementioned tie-flop (not a big fan of the tie clip, BTW) ... hopefully this photo will bring a few people around to liking the DB, even if it means messing with that annoying inside backwards button.
Someone earlier in the thread commented that they had seen this fellow before in another photo. I just found him in the previous month's archives, still looking very stylish:

He has an excellent cut on the suit, and wears the knot on the collar really well. The smaller knots exposing more of the tie around the neck really kills the image of these styles of shirt for me; glad to see him pull it off nicely.
