I love this look. She looks chic and happy. Absolutely lovely.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:53 AM) :

Another babe. I continue to live in NYC for (perfectly dressed) women like this...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:02 AM) :

The colour of her hair and boots, fantastic!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:10 AM) :

beautiful!

Blogger whyioughtta said ... (9:17 AM) :

Beautiful and natural. Love the festive purse/giftbag/not sure what it is. I'm looking for a little black jersey mini dress like that...Looks great on her.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:22 AM) :

Well, how to turn several trends worn at once into a classic? Accessorize with gorgeous hair and a broad smile. And while I do love every single thing about her look (the coat is nothing short of amazing), as a whole, she's just stupendously beautiful.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:26 AM) :

I love her boots, where are they from, I want them!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:10 AM) :

those legs!

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (10:13 AM) :

Wow - she looks fantastic! A great shot - the background apartment facades perfectly set her off. Beautiful smile and love the brightness of her bag and travelling coffee! The boots are divine. I love this!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:15 AM) :

Remember when Scott took all those photographs in Paris of gorgeous legs? Many people commented that the best accessories were great legs. I think that radiating health, happiness and confidence work pretty well, also. Oh, yes, there is nothing wrong with lustrous hair!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:30 AM) :

she is so gorgeous!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:55 AM) :

Nice Boots. Nice Legs. Nice smile

Blogger Tisheenyu said ... (11:11 AM) :

I absolutely adore this look. Especially her boots

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:17 AM) :

i love all black with luxe accessories: the boots & the hair. she looks magnificent!

Blogger comtedamour said ... (11:19 AM) :

oh yes, diggin her.

Blogger comtedamour said ... (11:19 AM) :

oh yes, diggin her.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:20 AM) :

She's a knock-out; I'm trying hard not to hate her. ;) Fab smile.

And a great shot, Sart: black dress, coat, tights, railings with red/brown bricks, hair and boots.
Love it. And definitely wish I had legs like that. >sigh<

Blogger Lily said ... (11:20 AM) :

she's darling~

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:27 AM) :

Whouaou...maybe the most beautiful girl I've seen on these pages.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:29 AM) :

I love how she matches her backdrop and even the tiny flower in the corner - red on top, dark on bottom. Very visually satisfying. And modern life has been compressed into a small area (coffee, cell, shopping).

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:30 AM) :

I wish she were wearing navy. I am loving navy these days...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:49 AM) :

very eurofashion! Looks like all the girls in Sweden!

Blogger Anonymous said ... (12:17 PM) :

She looks fabulous!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:34 PM) :

why she gotta have the ugly cuppa coffee in her hand?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:37 PM) :

i want her boots !!!!! i love this style

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:37 PM) :

love how the shopping bag and the star bucks stand out against her black :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:54 PM) :

Still waiting for promised picture of Hemingway.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:55 PM) :

She's pretty and lovely with that look. Nice blog.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:19 PM) :

Delightful girl. And that smile!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:03 PM) :

Scott, do you have a close up of the boot? It looks like my boot and if it is, that would amazing. If it isn't, it's still a great looking boot and I like the cognac color boot with an all black ensemble.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:10 PM) :

a big part of the success of this outfit is the identical color of the hair and boots. amazing how closely they're matched, i can't get over it

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:12 PM) :

well she's just off the charts, isn't she? its's so interesting to me that over and over in these photos i find that people pull their hair color into the equation by matching it to something they are wearing, which is one reason why the boots (besides being extremely cool, anyway) look so fantastic here. i think that once it gets to be too cold to wear my trench/turtleneck/short pants/ballet flats uniform (tomorrow, possibly, if the forecasters are correct) i'm going to adopt something along these lines -- maybe some flat riding boots for major errands days -- and play around with it. this look will take you anywhere in the city that you need to be.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:39 PM) :

whyioughtta--

i have a vintage goldworm knit dress that is very much like this one, but with a small keyhole cut-out neckline. goldworm mainly did prints -- often soft matisse and impressionist or bold egyptian/indian/asian-influenced prints, very cool -- but you can sometimes find a solid black one. definitely try ebay.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:04 PM) :

I adore this look. She looks stylish, comfortable and happy. This is one of my Sartorialist faves.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:05 PM) :

I have to say that brown leather is underated. yay brown boots.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:35 PM) :

rafe--
if these are in fact your boots, well done and for god's sake please hold a pair for me in size 8.5. can i get a sartorialist discount? (sorry, but no self-respecting new yorker would let it go without at least giving it a shot).

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:56 PM) :

Great smile, I feel like I know her. This is the case where sometimes its the personality that creates the style and not the clothes themselves.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:57 PM) :

Positively the Same...: I was in Buenos Aires ealier this year and had cigar brown riding boots custom-made. Apart from being gorgeous/hot, they are super comfy and were super cheap: $250. The guy makes the boots for equestrian types all over the world. You can choose your own piece of leather, and they are also leather-lined. www.casadelasbotas.com.ar

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:26 PM) :

She is perfect: boots, hair and that smile!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:05 PM) :

just fabolous!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:06 PM) :

Everything about her is fantastic. She proves that a killer smile is the best accessory!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:52 PM) :

I love her confidence :) she seems so comfortable in her own skin... inspiring! and the outfit, effortlessly chic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:34 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:37 PM) :

she's hot! i love how the hair, boots, and redbrick all match....

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:13 PM) :

YOW! Check out the legs that on for days.

Gorgeous NYC woman.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:34 PM) :

i think of the the best things about this picture is not her outfit, but that great smile she has.

Blogger Nia said ... (8:49 PM) :

Poor girl...she's lost her thighs!

She knows exactly how to dress herself, though. I love the way the boots match the haircolor.

Blogger DK said ... (10:21 PM) :

There's that brown paired with black again. I love it here.

Very nice.

Blogger Q said ... (1:05 AM) :

Yes! Someone else on the planet who doesn't think it's taboo to wear black and brown together!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:38 AM) :

Incredible hair, the color is so rich and suits her to a T. I think I need to run out and get some hair dye now!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:07 AM) :

she sort of looks like julia roberts doncha think?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:19 PM) :

Brilliant. Thanks Sart.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:48 PM) :

This chic is hot. Nice boots/hair combo.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:24 PM) :

Please please find out where the boots are from! My perfect brown boots were recently destroyed and I must replace them. Hers are perfect in that beautiful thick leather.

Amazing look! She is so glamorous.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:19 PM) :

I think her boots are Belle by Sigerson Morrison. Or they have a similar pair, at least.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:53 PM) :

Great Smile! She looks stunning!

Blogger 'signorina' said ... (8:33 PM) :

Blogger FeFe said ... (7:03 PM) :

After closer inspection I believe I have met this woman in San Francisco at the Diane Von Furstenberg event at Saks this past Oct. She is an assistant of DVF's I believe and radiates warmth and kindness. She wore an adorable LBD with waterfall back and empire waist. I have a photo and will try to find it and post a link...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:22 PM) :

OK.....
My boots are Chloe (this fall season bought at Intermix). The last blogger did identify my place of employment but I am a VP (long gone are my assistant days). A co-worker brought this to my attention and reading these comments absolutely made my day.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well done A!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:48 PM) :

My gosh, she looks really fresh and sexy! I can't really comment anything creative about her clothes that somebody here heven't already said but I've got to say her looks surely appeal to me!
