she`s the cutest girl i`ve seen for very long time. such a positive expression:)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:31 AM) :

I like the color combination and the classic pieces..i think its a good thing that her jacket isn't "high fashion", but the rest of the outfit, especially the shoes, still makes it right for now.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:43 AM) :

love the tights! not too crazy about the wedge, but loving the peep-toe as well! bravo!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:50 AM) :

This look of gray tights and brown peep-hole shoes is suddenly everywhere. It's usually accompanied by other gray and brown items in the outfit. Initially I was taken aback by the look. It's reminiscent of the nerdy tourist's socks and sandals. But it doesn't take long to warm up to it. I think it really works.

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (10:06 AM) :

I love this! She looks great (so perky!) and the colour palette of grey, white and tan is beautiful. Love those tights.

Blogger Renee said ... (10:07 AM) :

She's beautiful, but I may be biased because she's my sister.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:31 AM) :

i like the contrast of the grey leggings and the light tan wedge!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:49 AM) :

Plus brown of course! Very fresh, but takes some getting used to.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:10 AM) :

I'd give anything to be able to look like this girl. Maybe in my next life.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:25 AM) :

I LOVE this look!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:32 AM) :

The contrast between the two is fantastic. I'm not as fond of the shoes, but overall I think the outfit works.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:33 AM) :

LOVE those tights

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:40 AM) :

I love that kind of hosiery(?)! Unfortunately, I don't have the legs to wear them. It's all black for me

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:42 AM) :

Love the peep toe platforms in camel with grey tights. Have to say I'm disappointed with the bag. I would expect this girl to pick something a little more directional but maybe she works for that company. A lunch tote? Hmmm...one of these things is not like the other.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:52 AM) :

that is the coolest outfit - I'm going to buy some grey tights this weekend! Thanks Sart!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:15 PM) :

That's almost Carrie, except she'd probably be wearing hot pants with this look.
Gorgeous shoes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:15 PM) :

Wish I had the guts to wear those shoes with those tights. It works for her.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:37 PM) :

Risky mix of colours with an impeccable effect: a very feminime style. Lovely shoes!!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:41 PM) :

She looks cozy and comfortable. No awkward shivering.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:47 PM) :

very interesting. i like the contrast of white and gray with the brown interspersed - kind of like brown leaves on a blanket of snow.

Blogger NATRIBU said ... (12:53 PM) :

I love these shoes!

Blogger Elizabeth said ... (1:06 PM) :

I need to have those shoes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:26 PM) :

That was the most wonderful combination i've seen in a while. I absolutely love the shoes with the stockings.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:29 PM) :

Wow! A symphony of neutrals...they really pop here. I love the repeated browns at the neckline, bag and shoes. And it's a nice work outfit too.

Are those gauchos too? They don't bother me here.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:30 PM) :

she's perfect -- the colors, the shapes, the textures are right on the money. her hair style is adorable, and so is she.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:48 PM) :

i. love. this. look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:33 PM) :

Peep toes and tights?

When...will...the...insanity...stop?

Unlike the "On The Street/Broadway, NYC" shot from last month...

...this "trompe saison" outfit does not tickle my fancy. At all.

mltt

P.S. I LOVE this shot that I accidentally came across (from last year? Wow, you've been at this for a while)...

...it's very Park Extension (a multicultural area here in Montreal)!

Blogger Unknown said ... (3:40 PM) :

i don't like the whole outfit, but i like the hair and the way she's wearing those shoes, the combination of grey and tan works very well ;)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:54 PM) :

I love the colors here. Very much like something I would wear if I could just admit that it's ok to have tights on with open-toed shoes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:07 PM) :

what about the opened toed shoes? are they ok with those tights? i'm uncertain.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:39 PM) :

Love the color combo...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:51 PM) :

Funny how so many of the young women photographed for this wonderful blog have SUCH great legs, ankles, and feet, but often stand pigeon-toed when asked to pose for a picture. Something psychological going on there, but not sure what...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:52 PM) :

Do you move your subjects or do you just stop them where they are when you see them? The reason I ask is because the background colors are so perfectly suited to her outfit!

Blogger Jenni said ... (6:03 PM) :

Very pretty and polished.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:27 PM) :

The total is greater than the sum of its parts! Love this look

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:39 PM) :

Looks like a model to me! What a beautiful woman and great outfit! Look out runways, there's a new girl in town!

BEAUTIFUL

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:14 PM) :

it's is always remarkable, to me at least, how well earth tones and particularly browns and tans go with grey. an elegant and beautiful combination

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:16 PM) :

love the brown/tan and grey

Blogger Anastasia said ... (7:32 PM) :

What an interesting choice of footwear to go with grey tights but it really works well...she looks perky!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:25 PM) :

This is wonderful! She looks cute and warm and manages to wear a white puffy jacket without looking like a walking marshmallow.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:55 PM) :

The outfit would make her look like every other rich college girl except for the shoes. The wooden grain on the heel gives a small splash of brown which gives warmth to the cold black and white of her tights and jacket.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:11 AM) :

She's a very cute girl but I wish she was wearing a proper coat and not that puffy jacket.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:16 AM) :

WOW! Could ther be a more stylish lady on the streets of Manhatten? Her face would warm anyone on a these Winter days.

Blogger JYKW said ... (8:51 AM) :

finally i know there are people who actually appreciates style. i was given negative comments the other day when i was wearing something similar to this girl.

love the way she wore her tights and shoes. love them totally.

Blogger Tisheenyu said ... (9:31 AM) :

I absolute adore her shoes. The combo with the gray tights is very chic!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:40 AM) :

Okay-- four words: tights and peeptoes RULE!!

Maybe that's technically 5 words.... but listen up gals.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:23 PM) :

Cute outfit. Great tights. I really only hope they stick around--no, increase in popularity--for another season, they really add to so many looks.

Blogger Hester said ... (9:58 PM) :

I love the grey and brown and as someone said the amazingly uplifting expression on this dearie's face - but I find wearing peep-toe shoes with tights in winter a bit counterintuitive. I guess that's the point! Yet had the toe been closed, the pale summery colour of the shoes wouldn't have thrown me off in the least...

Blogger Lorraine said ... (12:43 AM) :

Adorable. (I'm pronouncing that with a French accent).

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:08 PM) :

this is so cute, i have to buy some gray tights like that! i love wearing tights and peep toes, to me it is a very london look that i revel in, even if none of my co-workers "get it".
also, i love that she's wearing a puffa style jacket rather than a coat, because it shows maybe she's a student or office worker -- someone who maybe can't afford a great wool coat yet -- but it hasn't cramped her cute fresh style in the least.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:13 AM) :

She is the most beautiful girl Manhattan has ever seen! So creative! I am lucky to call her my cousin!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:47 AM) :

does anyone know who makes those shoes? i am in love with them as well. . . . :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:55 AM) :

Belle, simple, classe, tout est dit.
