The GUY! He is a NewYorker doll!
This very punk rock style is an internationals NYC staple! Love it.
Them as couple look so cute! Her fashion sense is soft but still totally bad ass in a very polished way. The slim silhuotte in both of them makes them so elegant.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:11 PM) :

On girl: Definitely some style but not something I would ever wear!

Love the guy and his outfit!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:27 PM) :

I like her boots and all, but I think he wins.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:33 PM) :

Her coat is a perfect twist on a classic coat. The color is all punk, and the cut is all cool.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:33 PM) :

Wearing bows with her beau? I wasn't sure about this look until I checked the attention to detail with the head-to-toe bow homage.

Cute.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:38 PM) :

I love her coat an boots. I want him.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:40 PM) :

I love how the colors pop out against thier skin; they both look great! Would anyone happen to know what type of sweater the gentleman is wearing?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:40 PM) :

no wayyy....she definitely wins!! she looks way cooler - he just looks like a skinny version of keanu reeves...don't like him at all! she has this gothic vibe i'm not really a fan of, but i like her look the best - the boots are beautifull.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:49 PM) :

Great looking couple. Their look is very deliberate in a way that works for both of them. And they seem like they'd be properly arrogant (in a good way)! The gal's coat is awesome, not something you'd ever see again.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:59 PM) :

Another hideously cool couple - the type I never know whether to worship with wonder or murder out of jealousy! Those boots of hers are fabulous...

Blogger atticus_finch said ... (6:59 PM) :

Her boots are great!!! Anyone know where they could be from?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:05 PM) :

most beautiful couple in ny.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:07 PM) :

The melange of colors represented in the boot/stocking/plummy coat are simply gorgeous, especially because they're enhanced by the variety of textures.

So very good.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:12 PM) :

I love her scarf - it's that most elusive of things, the perfect purple.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:18 PM) :

wow. it's not just the great pieces -- and they are great (the coat, the boots, knee socks for crying out loud) -- but the way (on her, in particular) they have been combined. so difficult to do this right -- they really do look elegant AND bad-ass, and utterly original, at the same time.

Blogger YFYF.org said ... (7:19 PM) :

Both very cool, but I like the girl's outfit better. I like the slight glimpse of stocking just over the boot and the smart tie up at the calf. Also, wonderfully creative use of colour.

Blogger M About Town said ... (7:27 PM) :

Im not so sure I like those pants, but I adore that coat.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:28 PM) :

her boots are fantastic, but did you happen to ask where her coat came from? i love it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:57 PM) :

OMG . . . Amazing outfits! LOVE! Especially love the coat and boots on the girl.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:05 PM) :

They are amazing!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:14 PM) :

wow, that coat is FANTASTIC. Purple and green has always been a favorite color combination of mine.

Blogger Butch said ... (8:46 PM) :

A color-coordinated couple! Was consultation involved in the match-up, or do fashion thoughts just have wings?

And which came first: the guy's slimmest-of-all legs or those of the pants?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:49 PM) :

a second query on the boots. anyone know the designer? that is a very good looking couple.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:03 PM) :

WOW

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:13 PM) :

Too beautiful! The man is heart-stoppingly gorgeous. I'd be afraid to talk to them. But, here's a tribute: as perfectly and interestingly as they are dressed, on their chic skinny frames, their facial expressions are still more compelling than their clothes. Grrreat shot!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:20 PM) :

"Positively Spring Street"

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:24 PM) :

her boots are Bronx. they have them at Shoemania on 14th street.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:32 PM) :

He looks fab.

I love her coat, I love the individual pieces (boots, socks, bow-tied trouser). But put together it just looks a bit too busy and a bit try-hard.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:01 PM) :

one of the best dress couples i've seen. so wonderfully eclectic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:09 PM) :

is that susan eldridge?

Blogger Tom Bailey said ... (10:14 PM) :

I just cant see myself wearing boots. Maybe a guy has to be into fashion or be a cowboy to wear them?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:56 PM) :

i love the coat! purple and forest green, so lush and autumny. is it really reversible, as someone suggested? (ie that's why we're seeing the forest green on the lefthand side in the second pic?)

and the red barrette in her hair really sets it all off.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:09 PM) :

Wicked style... I particularly like the little bit of yellow on the girl. As if the purple and green were not enough!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:19 PM) :

Wow! Did they consult their color wheel in the morning to come out perfectly complementary?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:20 PM) :

i love the colors on these 2. and the guy's hair, my gosh, i wish i had that hair!

the guy is just on point!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:24 PM) :

her coat is fantastic. i would kill for it... well maybe not kill.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:28 PM) :

she's hot. great fashion sense. and feel for color. is that coat burberry?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:32 PM) :

Love, love love it! The look is very original, but not so far 'out there' that it's unwearable. And the color is fantastic - I'm a huge fan of the purple coat.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:52 PM) :

He bears an eerie resemblance to Rhett Miller (lead singer of the Old 97's). At first I thought it was him, but the silhouette is a bit too slender.

Blogger marie said ... (11:55 PM) :

The purple coat brings back memories of my own, mine had grey faux fur lining. I wore it (size 12) from age 7 to 12..tiil my family moved to Panama.

I still have the coat in hopes that I might one day let my "future" daughter wear it and enjoy it as much as I did.

It is one of the few clothing I have saved from my childhood. :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:04 AM) :

The man is an attractive goth. The woman is an individualist.
She lacks that wonderful spontaneous spirit from your great shot a few days back.... you know, the woman with the fab auburn colored hair.

Blogger Aurora said ... (2:43 AM) :

That couple is sooo fabulous! Stylish, I love the purple coat..!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:26 AM) :

Waooouh, the guy has very long feet!! but i think the skinny fit does matter...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:58 AM) :

ooh they are looking marvelous! what a darling couple,, i wish i were so hip,,

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:33 AM) :

i think they've overdone it a bit..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:30 AM) :

hmmmm...isnt this a young keanu reaves and jeanne triplehorn?!
anyway, not sure about her trousers, but i`m lovin his skinnies and jacket, very beat!

sabrina in germany

Blogger viviana said ... (10:08 AM) :

what a wonderful couple, they must be models, they look so stilish but special at the same time!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:23 AM) :

I agree with anon 6:33: too much going on here, trying too hard. Great bone structure on both, though.

Blogger Fine Haberdashery said ... (10:33 AM) :

Well executed....but almost too much going on here. I do love it ...and it is very Spring St....but seems as if though they are just a little bit too self-aware. Wait a minute....maybe that's the point.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:08 AM) :

I love this couple style and really cool that he has long hair and she has a short hair...an he looks so manly and she looks very femenine too!

Blogger Anonymous said ... (12:47 PM) :

Love the coat, hate the shoes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:56 PM) :

I want her outfit....amazing & unique

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (1:17 PM) :

I love all the thought that has gone into her outfit, but the coat tops it off, literally! The green and purple together - beautiful.

Blogger Laurence John said ... (1:37 PM) :

hey, you devil, you got her to open her coat to show off her trousers !

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:37 PM) :

that coat is amazing!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:34 PM) :

he: rock n roller in my favorite band, the high class elite

she: gorgeous nymph

they: so lovely and friendly and not at all arrogant

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:56 PM) :

hey does anyone know where that coat is from? it is AMAZING!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:49 PM) :

What a striking couple! The styles speak volumes of cool without looking like they are trying too hard, being punk wannabes.

Love those boots!

Blogger comtedamour said ... (8:22 PM) :

the deal is that she looks great from the bottom of the coat up. below, n.g. he looks fine.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:08 PM) :

cool

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:30 PM) :

SHE WINS. Hands down! I am really not digging the skinny jeans on guys at all anymore and not sure I ever did. The length of them with the length of those flat boots just looks really off proportionally.

But, yeah, she looks wonderful. The colors are great!

Blogger Three Repute said ... (12:04 AM) :

fantastic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:18 AM) :

absolutely fabulous dahling!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:18 AM) :

people like this exist?! no way! this is a fairytale.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:19 AM) :

want those boots! where are they from?

Blogger Zaydoun said ... (4:10 AM) :

Doesn't he look like a taller version of Gael Garcia Bernal?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:20 PM) :

boots! so where do i get em? anyone anyone?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:00 AM) :

They sure are somethin'. Their body language just screams 'model' so does their fabulous -yet- nonchalant ensembles. Not sure about her knickerbockers but they do carry the blue of the bag through to the bottom of the outfit, along with the sox.
Ok I relent. I love it all, especially seeing as a standard issue mortal I could never get away with it...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:16 PM) :

Amazing outfit!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:22 PM) :

dont like the chaps jumper
i like the womans attention to detail...fantastic
