The boots kill! Yes, it's head-to-toe black, and guess what? I don't care. Black rules. This is NYC. Don't like it, move to Kansas.

It's not a boot. My comp screen here at work sucks. An olive sock in a shoe, yes? Love it.

Wait, are those socks under with heels over pants?

If so, I like it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:37 AM) :

Is she wearing the Louis Vuitton leopard scarf?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:46 AM) :

i love how its all black and the pieces are subtly distinguished. i would never approve of tucking pants into socks but she made it work.
are those shoes marc jacobs?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:53 AM) :

Very nice balance throughout. I would rethink the skinny jeans (not skinny enough in this case, unfortunately). Those fab Marc Jacobs boots would have been better served by leggings or tights under a minidress or tunic. There is too much bagging at the knees and tightness around the boot cuffs with her choice of legwear. Otherwise, brava! She is adorable.

i've been waiting to see someone show up somewhere in these boots. i've only seen the black-and-white, knee-high version online and in the shops. this is better, but, mmmm, i just don't know. i think they're too trendy and gimmicky for my liking.

really like the way she mixed shoes with shocks... love it!

omg! there they are! those MJ-shoes have been allover the place for the last month. they're gorgeous...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:40 PM) :

Those are those Marc Jacobs boots that everyone has. I'm not into the way she's wearing them, actually.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:49 PM) :

I love the shoes! This is a very interesting way to wear them, not sure if it would feel too bulky for me. But, I can understand not wanting to wait for warm weather!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:18 PM) :

Such a nice black outfit. All black is very nice as a pause when you're tired of all the colors.

I absolutely looove the shoes, does someone know where they are from?

Please answer on this one :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:19 PM) :

Love the shoes. I think they're Marc Jacobs...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:27 PM) :

what the heck are those shoes? They look like Mary Jane wedges over nylon booties. bizarre, yet intriguing!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:36 PM) :

omg she's got MY shoes from Marc Jacobs. I wanna kill her! I'm absolutely inlove with them...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:39 PM) :

I saw her on the street that day, too, and could not take my eyes of those shoes! Where did she get her coat? I want it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:25 PM) :

to everyone going crazy over the socks in shoes...that's how the boots are! it's just a boot, not socks plus shoes...ONE piece...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:44 PM) :

Those are Marc Jacobs Shoes!!!!!
Drool.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:36 AM) :

Ohhh! Love the Marc Jacobs shoes!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:50 AM) :

The shoes are Marc Jacobs and the "suede sock" is attached to the shoe. I love this shoe, the toe character, the conish heel, upturned sole...very forward. As a designer, this makes me turn green but in a good way, always! Girls like her give me hope that there are people out there ready for something new.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:56 PM) :

like the shoe boot thing
