It seems that you were taking this shot from below, were you? In which case, I wonder how does she look so good? Isn't that supposed to be the worst angle to photograph people?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:31 PM) :

Insane! I love everything about this. Every...single...thing!

mltt

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:07 PM) :

Wow, I LOVE her shoes and even more- the tatoos(?) on her feet!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:08 PM) :

the rust is very good with the grey and the black, and isn't a color we see a lot of around town. i also like the fact that she's wearing a print, which again is unusual for a new yorker.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:06 PM) :

Adorable! Perhaps my favorite look posted here so far.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:56 PM) :

Is she wearing printed tights?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:00 PM) :

Is that henna on her foot? Cool.
My first thought was that her look was 'Lucky Magazine' but there's something real around her edges. The bag doesn't look so interesting but in a way that's what keeps her edgy. It would be too perfect with 'the perfect bag'.

Seriously, what is the key to finding good-fitting pants? Do you have to buy them a little tighter?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:46 PM) :

LURVE LURVE THIS. THE FACT THAT THE BAG IS NOT SO EDGEY LIKE ANNON SAYS MAKES THIS LOOK SOOOOO FLIPPIN GOOD. BOY DO YOU HAVE A GOOD EYE SART. MASTERPIECE. PLEASE TELL US WHAT WAS ON THOSE CRUBEENS
TIGHTS HENNA TATOOS?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:11 PM) :

what a beautiful person. her smile...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:11 PM) :

I agree with the previous post. It reminds me of a Lucky mag ensemble but with more attitude.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:47 PM) :

i like her use of color, i think the stockings on her feet are interesting, but i like how it ties in with the sweater and the blouse.

Blogger marie said ... (11:51 PM) :

I like the color of the sweater.

How funny that people keyed in on Lucky magazine - this is Rita Konig from Lucky's sister publication Domino. She is stunning and stylish and has an abundance of soignee.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:45 AM) :

I love how everyone assumes she's wearing printed tights or has henna on her feet. Chances are she is tattooed. I know everyone believes tattooed people are "out there" and don't look or dress this way, but that's a stereotype.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:00 AM) :

She's lovely.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:35 PM) :

wow, she looks great!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:42 AM) :

Are her jeans cuffed?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:17 AM) :

This is actually the ever-stylish Helen Howell (not from Lucky Magazine) and not a New Yorker....just at heart! She must be wearing printed tights b/c she does not have henna on her feet (as far as I know!)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:49 PM) :

this photo made me happy on an otherwise gray friday. she's stylish w/o a whiff of hipster.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:21 PM) :

ahh! love everything.
