Thanks for the large image - the detail of her coat is beautiful, as is the delicate white stitching on the blue dress. Very feminine.

BEA-U-TI-FUL in every way -- gorgeous shot.

Beautiful. I want each of these pieces. If anyone knows where I can get the dress, the jacket and the bag (if you can even work out what the bag is), please post. Also, Sart, how tall was she? Looks like the dress is a little short for her, given where the belt is. Lovely shot, btw.

I love that dress! The pleats are insane! But I don't really like the style of the jacket. The sleeves are too long, making the jacket look a little dowdy..

Wow, she looks like a moviestar from the 70:s.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:23 AM) :

the pleats & the color of the dress is fantastic.

Wonderful cerulean color against her skin! Love how it pops against the gray background.

How lovely...The dress looks vintage.

It's a very put together look. It's one of those outfits that you don't think would work, but it does!

Blogger Anonymous said ... (1:29 PM) :

One of my favorite color combos.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:23 PM) :

Something about the first two photos reminds me of a Jack Nicholson line about how the man has to dress up and she's ok with a house dress.

I think my gran has this dress. Well, similar. The white edging is edgy indeed!

I love how the color of the dress really pops when paired with the grey sweater. Lovely combination.

Great shot, wonderful backlighting.

Just wish you'd gotten her full body, including her shoes.

Shoes make or break the outfit.

that dress is adorable!!!!!!!

I just enjoy this very girlie shapes.
The colours are beautiful - this blue is amazing!
It's kinda sad that here in São Paulo we girls tend to wear a lot of black . There are numbers that show that no women in Brazil wear as much black and smaller prints then us.
Very few initiated girls wear some sorts of yellow and/or green. When we talk colours, right after black, you can see -why not? - red (all variants) and some beiges and browns.
Grey. That's another not too easy colour to see on the streets.
Anyway. This is an awesome picture, a great look and another great unexpected colour match.
;)

3 cheers for the magnifying glass!

Absolutely love how simple, and effortlessly put together this looks- as if she had to step out of the house for a bit, and threw on this lovely combo.

The simplicity of her look is it's best feature in my opinion. Nothing takes away from her. I adore the pleated skirt which can be so difficult to wear for us curvier girls. She knows how to dress her frame impeccably. Very soft with a timeless femininity. Lovely!

I have a jacket just like the one she is wearing..actually two. I wonder if hers is wool like mine are?

did you catch her walking or did you make her walk? either way, a splendid slice of time captured by the lens.

So beautiful. The outfit colours look perfect with her beautiful hair and skin colours.
