On The Weekend......Upper East Side, NYC

In case you were wondering it is a YSL jacket (not that there is anything wrong with that)

What is up with carring two bags...specially when they are two small showlder bags...?
Don't find it remotely flattering: but totally clumsy.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:56 PM) :

I really like the look, but I can't put my finger on why.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:49 PM) :

Now, THAT'S bringing sexy back. Justin, take note.

mltt

Blogger Tiffany said ... (9:55 PM) :

Oh I love that jacket! Would love it in black or navy.

Very fresh, slender look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:14 PM) :

I like how you take photos of old/middle aged and young people.

Also I like this style of "plain" day to day dressing down that a lot of magazines ignore, like Vogue. Vogue sucks.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:37 PM) :

so cute. and i want those boots!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:54 PM) :

It's very American...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:01 PM) :

Is this person Amanda Hearst?

Blogger marie said ... (1:16 AM) :

Love the jacket!

Blogger fashion in theory said ... (2:23 AM) :

i'm not soo enthusiastic about this one. even if it is YSL i almost feel like it could've been h&m...
and her pants are boring.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:03 AM) :

Isn't that Amanda Hearst? I like the jacket but somehow I don't feel like she pulls it off.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:01 AM) :

Your pictures are so goddamn beautiful! I love them. And this girl had a smashing look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:34 AM) :

Wow - she is california girl with a touch of 80s in New York

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:02 AM) :

Gorgeous girl YSL or not !

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:55 AM) :

I don't understand why people spend so much money on a jacket like that. Sorry... It's just my opinion. There is nothing special about that whole look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:02 AM) :

Is that Amanda Hearst?

Borat says Niiiice!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:13 AM) :

what a wonderful girl, perfect outfit for a lunch date. I hope the man she met really enjoyed her company.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:37 AM) :

YSL jacket, Chanel bag, Barneys shopping bag, this girl did some serious shopping. I like the 3/4 lengh sleeve and the blouson style of the jacket. Wearing it with skinny jeans and riding boots gives the whole outfit more street cred.

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (10:32 AM) :

The jacket fits her beautifully. I'd say it was a sound investment!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:20 AM) :

I have the same boots

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:55 AM) :

Simple, clean, chic, fantastic! Love love love the jacket.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:44 PM) :

Oh please!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:46 PM) :

That's Amanda Hearst. She certainly can afford to buy stylish clothing.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:03 PM) :

why would there be a problem, the jacket looks amazing and I love her boots!

Sarah

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:07 PM) :

love the jacket ;-)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:02 PM) :

Is that Amanda Hearst?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:36 PM) :

I know it's NY and all, but can we please see someone in some COLOR!

Blogger Butch said ... (3:43 PM) :

I don't know why, but asymmetrical clothing usually makes me bite my nails. Undoubtedly my problem, not the wearer's....

Blogger Gidget Bananas said ... (3:51 PM) :

I don't think there's anything else you could do with really skinny jeans and boots, but I'm still not crazy about the tucked-in look.

The jacket is great, whoever made it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:02 PM) :

gorgeous. very simple and clean and elegant.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:13 PM) :

that's amanda hearst, she's beautiful and can certainly afford to wear beautiful clothes!

maria 8:44 - the second bag is a shopping bag! :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:35 AM) :

who is amanda hearst? sorry i dont live in new york i just visit . wink*

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:48 AM) :

Is there anything else here than a semi notorious pretty face?
BORING outfit!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:09 PM) :

Those of you saying her outfit is "boring," can you please elaborate.

I find basic, fairly timeless pieces far more stylish that the mish-mash, tons of layers weighing one down, disheveled, ragamuffin look that seems so popular in NYC and on this blog.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:43 AM) :

She's a model/heiress/socialite. Kinda like Paris Hilton only prettier. But let's get to the more important question...where did she get those BOOTS?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:11 AM) :

The two-bag thing is a little quirky, but so what? Her overall look is so winning! And as far as being Amanda Hearst, she seems too uncomplicated to be a socialite. Compare this photo with this known shot of Amanda

Hmmm... Amanda or not Amanda?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:21 AM) :

my first thought was its amanda hearst as well! (they pic a few above this one looked a bit like lauren bush). i dig the boots in this pic

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:17 PM) :

This is great on her. It's youthful, just edgy enough, simple. Two bags takes it from remote fashionista to girl next door. I'd say she got it bang on. This is where restraint pays off - when you've got great pieces and you put them together without overwhelming people. She doesn't pretend to be anything she's not and there is nothing remotely cynical or knowing about her look. She's young, hopeful and proud of it. Bravo. Hope the world clears a way for her.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:51 AM) :

i liked her jacket and boots. i liked her hair to. it's so.. regular=P heehee

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:08 PM) :

the second bag is a shopping bag. like when you go to the store any buy something. why is that so hard to grasp?!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:36 AM) :

it is Amanda. She's really really pretty and also a very nice person in real life.
