Rugged & Rough...I like it.

wow - their outfits look very coordinated. i like it - they look great!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:41 AM) :

hmmm..maybe they should go see the giorgio morandi show - same color palette going on. a bit of a zzzz for this trio, though, and i would ban that type of hat if i could - especially worn that way.

Her jeans have an unusual weight to them.

Blogger MARIA H said ... (11:01 AM) :

An upcomming designer that dresses totally far, far away from his designs.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:38 AM) :

finally... a girl avoiding the skinny jean trend. thank you!

Blogger Butch said ... (11:43 AM) :

Now here I must say the dress seems generic to me--kind of a blur of universal trendiness...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:54 AM) :

love the baggy jeans...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:55 AM) :

Love the colors and combinations...perfect city look. And the big scarf on the blonde guy doesn't look forced. But those jackets are just waaay too big and 1998 Hip Hop IMO.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:39 PM) :

ana beatriz lerario and robert geller, designers of lerario beatriz and harald. fiftytwo showroom. they all have amazing style and it shows in their lines!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:32 PM) :

they look great, but i have two remarks. The baseball cap and i don't like how the blond guy wears his jeans -- covering his shoes. Some people do that but i think it's awfull.

The lady looks very stylish and chic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:46 PM) :

urban chic, baby....not really a stand-outish look but put together well....would blend in with the plethora of NY citizens.

Blogger la femme said ... (3:33 PM) :

I would never have picked him out in that outfit :)

I love the woman in the middle.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:34 PM) :

The friends are designers too. It's Robert Geller who has a really cool line called Harald and Ana Lerario who runs a sales showroom and has a very sweet line called Lerario Beatriz. They're all super stylish without trying too hard.

...to no fault of their own, when too many stylies gather, there can often be an over abundance of scarves, and cuffs, and distressed leathers, and charming side parts, and enzyme rinsed military twills, and angsty attitudes, and downtown devil may care glances...I like to see a more mixed bag: one prep, one polished, one progressive is my favorite triad...but anywho, as indiviuals, they all have style for days...hell, they'd better: they get paid to do just that!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:44 PM) :

there is nothing "sartorial" about any of these outfits. This is horrible even on the teens who normally wear it, let alone adults.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:01 PM) :

Does anyone know who makes the boots Richard is wearing?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:13 PM) :

....hhmmmm.....i love that a man wearing a cape causes a major style-quake on this blog yet a man wearing a baseball cap resembling a cartoon character seems to be totally o.k.
maybe its because i am european...but................really?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:28 PM) :

It's a "V" of green! Did they walk down the street this way? Did the dudes come to her door, then she check her brown boots and say, "Oh dear! I have to pull out the green nubuck boots instead."

They look so chummy and happy!

mltt

Blogger DK said ... (8:48 PM) :

I dig my man on the left. How many scarves is that? Two? I likes.

To lintmag 1041: Why would you ban fitteds? That's blasphemy.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:18 PM) :

I love how someone can have the innate style to tuck a bit of one pant leg into their boot and make it look like an accident. damn.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:37 AM) :

The shoes Richard is wearing are Y3's, you can get them at Odin.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:31 AM) :

Does it mean that the baggy jeans for women is back?

Blogger marie said ... (1:13 PM) :

I want to be the girl standing between the two guys! ;)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:26 PM) :

very standard

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:40 PM) :

The blond guy - nice style. The woman in the middle - beautiful and the jeans look great.

The angle brim baseball hat on R Chai? Not on anyone over 23.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:34 PM) :

They look like perfection!! Who wouldnt want to look like any of them!!

P.S. They look like happy people :)

Robert! What a nice surprise. And it should be noted that Robert Geller was part of Cloak up to Fall 2004, a season that many regard as the best season Cloak ever had to date.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:04 PM) :

Don't care for the skewed baseball cap...

Blogger Dom said ... (9:22 PM) :

CHAI & CO.

I'd describe all of their styles as Urban Chic.

They look like they are all a part of some fashion meets the military street gang or something.hahaa...oorrr not.

I like the way Geller is wearing his scarf wrapped around his hood..it looks quite cozy.

The baggy jeans and boots on the young lady are awesome.

And last, but not least, Chai...He's the only guy in that I have ever seen wear Junya Watanabe with a Yankees fitted cap or Comme des Garcons with Rocawear. I enjoy his mix of high and low.

He actually gave me half of his company to say this..Such a nice guy.

Sweeeet.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:41 AM) :

No more baseball caps...please....
Robert looks great though. As for Ana's jeans...they totally destroy her figure.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:08 AM) :

i bought a pair of baggy man's jeans the other day. a bit higher on the waist, too. just to change...

Blogger JA Firebrand said ... (8:02 PM) :

I'd call it rough rugged and RAW; and the boots gurlfren is rockin' - HOT, HOT,

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:41 AM) :

I love the color blue scarf on Richard Chai mixed with his camel color sweater. Nice mix of a bright color and classic color. He looks goooood!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:00 PM) :

It's refreshing to finally see people in fashion look cute, casual and comfortable without trying so hard to be over-the-top fashionistas.

GO YANKEES!

Blogger yourboyhood said ... (2:48 PM) :

wow, long time no see richard!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:09 AM) :

Dig it. Great click.

Blogger - said ... (10:01 AM) :

really like the girl in the middle... she very appropiate to fit with those men... :P seems that they decided together what they were going to wear

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:35 PM) :

I can totally see why Richard Chai is Couture's sexy "boy wonder" of the NY fashion scene . . . only he could pull off a yankee cap w/Comme des Garcons, Junya Watanabe & Y3 boots! As for the other two, who cares?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:27 AM) :

Wow! All three are designers? Richard Chai I've heard of - who hasn't? I once saw Anna Beatriz' line - Lerario Beatriz - at a store once but then it disappeared . . .with good reason. It was horrid. As for the line Robert Geller designs - Harald? I'll have to look that one up. Why doesn't he design for Cloak anymore? Weird that they're all friends.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:02 PM) :

Richard Chai's personal style is so different from his Womens' Collection. I love them both.
