The dress looks a bit frumpy, but I see where she's going with it.

What gorgeous hair. I can't even focus on anything else in the picture.

Pretty girl - I love her hair.

I like the color of the scarf, but the dress is too messy for me.

so parisian! great scarf!

See, here's my thoughts about scarves. Clothing can be very architectural, structured, and linear, especially men's wear. A scarf is like a fluid element, a flourish, a signature, a doodle, which can do great things for an outfit. In this case, it IS the outfit.

Sart! What a wonderful look. She's a total peach ! Her charming facial expression is so winning. The balance of such a sweet dress matched with the edgy leather jacket and dramatic scarf, works so well.

The smile-pout! Aaaaugh! My heart!

She looks like she could be Liv Tyler's twin.

i have to say this look is a bit all over the place. the layers dont really do much for each other.

but what gorgeous hair! its like you see what shes wearing but then all of a sudden its the hair and ONLY the hair.

loves it :)

Take away the scarf? That's like telling a French woman not to breathe.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:38 AM) :

la parisienne... :)

the dress isn't totally spot on for me, but she looks just lovely anyway

the scarf just makes it, for some reason the way it is wrapped around her (beautiful) hair just works and I love love those shrunken black leather jackets that all the french girls are wearing right now

How do French women always look inimitably stylish? Whether in Paris, or in the Provinces. The girl in the photo oozes style.

Oh my god I was going to buy that dress on Saturday!! Its H & M but I worried that it would look too juvenile. I may go back and get it. It reminds me of the little orphan annie look Marc Jacobs did for spring 07

Cute as a cupcake! She looks cool.

Adorable -- I love the light dress over the dark tights.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:40 PM) :

looks a little off for winter time- but she still manages to a scarf- well done- all in the name of fashion right?
