On The Street.....Puffer Vest, Manhattan

I love the color of the puffer vest but the best part is the shorter length - often puffer coats or vest can overwhelm a person but the shorter length makes for a much better proportion.

great pic. cute guy with great style :)

agreed on all counts and OF COURSE it doesn't count that he is incredibly cute to begin with.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:04 PM) :

also it's a good thickness. usually they are too thick and too long.

i got one of these in orange. it's hot

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:10 PM) :

i'll say it again, cute guy with a great style... love people who look effortless.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:13 PM) :

the one thing idon't understand is why people like the shiny, flat jeans thing. how long is that going to last?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:22 PM) :

the outfit is cute, but i want to poke him in the middle of his back to make him stand up straight.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:12 PM) :

cute guy! with such a funky slack style

Jen is right about his posture ... good posture is profoundly important in looking stylish and confident (and you can order it over the internet for next to nothing!!)

Unlike most 'puffer vests' (which are atrocious) this one is actually tolerable for the reasons you mention, Sart, although it seems 'too short' for the sweatshirt he's wearing underneath ... which would leave a band of shirt hanging down below the vest.

I've never been a fan of the white running shoes beyond athletic activities, especially with dark pants.

Vans authentics are awesome

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:27 PM) :

he is adorable! it looks like he borrowed his trendy dad's hunting vest. asian guys are so elegant when they are well dressed. those slim frames are perfect. i know 'cause my boyfriend is korean and a total clotheshorse and addicted to thom browne. ;)

Nice genuine smile. Love the shirt/sweater/puffer combo. Good shoes too.

I must tell you that I am so happy to have discovered this blog. Most people in my circles have no clue about fine clothing and the way to dress. I thought of starting a blog dedicated to good clothes, but now that I discovered you, I can concentrate on my own blog, which links right back here.

Goodluck.

A co-worker told me about your blog today and I am thrilled with the work you are doing. I am a former New Yorker that has been missing the city very much, and you place the people and places squarely back into my experience. Continue the fabulous work! All the best,

beautifuladonis

what an adorable guy. I wish he would have a better posture though.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:38 PM) :

A nice-looking young man. I (joining the nitpickers here) wish his pant legs were a little shorter. But he pulls off the vest nicely. Short vests are great if you have a slender waist and hips, as he does.

P.S. Shiny flat jeans forever!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:53 AM) :

aaw, he is sooo cute :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:03 AM) :

cute guy with a simply but great style :)
he mixes right the colors!

Gorgeous. Would probably be improved by the absence of the fisherman's waistcoat though(or even better, by the absence of any drapery at all)

Gorgeous. Would probably benefit by the absence of the fisherman's waistcoat though (or preferably by the absence of any draperies whatsoever)

oh this guy is cute! cute as a button sort of cute.

i was just telling all my friends they should get gilets (although i'm in sydney...and it's approaching summer here)because it's so chic. It's not a gangster garment anymore- it's suave sporty. They were saying somewhere how it looks great when they wear one on top of a suit. i'm yet to find a guy innovative enough to do that- I certainly hope you do!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:05 AM) :

Is that Vans hes wearing? Or does anyone knows where that shoes are from?

Blogger in defense of retail therapy said ... (10:11 AM) :

excellent jacket. the vertical stitching that stops before the edge is a nice touch. very good design and nice shot. lovely smile.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:03 AM) :

I'm not sure if it's bad posture, or if he's cold!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:31 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:03 PM) :

this guy gots style. effortless. and refreshingly un(super)trendy.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:24 AM) :

oh my he is cute...oh yea nice clothes too..lol

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:42 PM) :

This guy is paint by numbers. Looks like he just walked out of a catalog with his very neat sneakers. He's a little too clean or something...can't palce it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:54 PM) :

is that eugene tong? i guess having style has to come as standard when you want to work in details... very cute btw... ;)

Blogger C.S. said ... (1:53 AM) :

Omigod I know this guy! It is Eugene! How funny haha ...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:54 PM) :
