Wow, for once, and I do mean once, the black leggings look almost good. Also, I really dislike the black and grey color (...er) combination that's being pushed now, but she manages to make it look pretty good. Her boots, legs, bag and smile are just that great.

Blogger Kelli said ... (9:28 AM) :

Lovely! She still has all the trends (long sweater, leggings, scrunchy boots, etc.)like the girl in the previous photo but for some reason, her outfit looks much more authentic to me - I notice the girl and her clothing is working for her.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:38 AM) :

oi....she's gorgeous...love the grandad cardigan. the contrast of beauty with that item..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:42 AM) :

I really like this look, specialy the layer on layer and the volume that it brings. Two thums up :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:42 AM) :

I WANT TO BE HER!!

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:08 AM) :

her i l o v e: excellent tone on tone cardi-jacket combo + brown accessories = smart girl.

Blogger RoseAG said ... (10:15 AM) :

This girl looks like she forgot her skirt.

I much prefer leggings or footless tights under a mini-skirt. The same amount of body is still showing but it seems more decent.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:23 AM) :

Glorious. The best look on the site yet. I'll give you $1,000 to give her my phone number.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:33 AM) :

Simply perfect! Understated color; great blend of texture and fabrics; supreme balance of long over short, tight and loose, and favored mixing of black and brown. Stunning smile, smooth hair under cap, and such a relaxed stance make for splendid final touches. This so makes me pine for my hometown..... NYC in fall is the best parade ever!

Blogger Alison Santighian said ... (10:35 AM) :

This is the way slouchy boots and leggins will never, ever look dated.

Blogger thwany said ... (10:38 AM) :

stunning

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:44 AM) :

Oh, that's hot ... everything about it.

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (10:44 AM) :

I love the different lengths of her layers. And she has fantastic legs in those boots!

Blogger Mounir said ... (10:45 AM) :

Great set-up, everything fits like a charm. Her hair looks like some kind of licorice cotton candy.. yum!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:03 AM) :

wow wow wow. loving the cardigan dress..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:04 PM) :

this girl has brought sexy, cool, charm and funk back all at once
really nice pic. the outfit is flawless.

Blogger mademoisellelala said ... (12:08 PM) :

She looks awesome! But Midtown, where? That background looks way too green for Manhattan...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:51 PM) :

ok--ur obviously biased towards beautiful women--- her outfit is great---i like the use of neutrals, the proportion og the long cardigan, and then again of the boots---but she screams blindingly beautiful fashion model. wher do you find these women? does ur wife know about this?
LOL

Blogger min6chars said ... (12:55 PM) :

That smile is the perfect accessory!

Blogger thelittlestbird said ... (12:56 PM) :

adorable.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:01 PM) :

Love the layering of the greys with brown boots .... bravo !!!

what a great smile too !!!

Blogger S. said ... (1:03 PM) :

Proving that a lovely smile is the best thing to wear!

Blogger Unknown said ... (1:26 PM) :

Short over long done fabuolously well. Nice long lines, and the hat brings the look together. This outfit looks fresh, even though it borrows elements from the 80s.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:26 PM) :

everyone is starting to look the same....

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:34 PM) :

I love this. She looks so fresh.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:56 PM) :

She is fabulous.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:29 PM) :

I like the brown accessories. The hat is a cool finish. She has an ease to her style, like a model.

Blogger stickyheels said ... (3:12 PM) :

perfectly balanced top to bottom...love the entire thing -- colors, textures, lengths! especially the cute little hat! can I please be this girl?!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:12 PM) :

there is a reason opaques are so ubiquitous this season - its because they look great - like a brush stroke in a drawing - i love the shades of grey here and then the brown boots and bag - fantastic

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:21 PM) :

Ow! She is too sexy for her clothes! - JCH

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:25 PM) :

An outfit always looks grat when the posing is right!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:54 PM) :

a smile..what an accessory.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:44 PM) :

I don't think this picture is about the clothes, but the personality. The girl looks great, but I don't think that there's any originality. Just alot of trend following. Just go to any college campus and you'll see a million little hipsters with brown boots and black leggings

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:51 PM) :

Comfy but with a bit of "strut"--and her fab attitude just makes it even better!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:57 PM) :

I've always found gray and brown to look good together...some sort of casual elegance in it. She is wearing a lot of the current trends together (I've always preferred one trend at a time) but she owns the outfit as a whole instead of the other way around. Good for her.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:43 PM) :

She is very cool! the perfect combination between modern items and not so modern ones. Great style.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:23 PM) :

Methinks, Sart, is doing an "Ode to mltt" ;-)

This, I think, is a unitard and not just leggings with a top. The buttoned sweater underneath the cropped jacket? Hmm, I think a plain sweater would have been better.

The boots don't get any better though!

Love hats for working out, winter and welding. Our mademoiselle could have done even better with a ponytail to show off more of her wonderful face.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:40 PM) :

Wonderful look! That must be Central Park in the background, and the Apple Store at 59th and 5th. The tights raise an interesting style ambiguity. If you think of them as stockings, then maybe her sweater is just short of the right tunic length, and a skirt might be seen as completing the look better. If you look at the tights more like being skinny slacks, then it all works. Style judgments *are* in the eye of the beholder.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:47 PM) :

When I grow into my own style, I hope it looks like that.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:08 AM) :

spell with me: g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s-!-!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:20 AM) :

to ordinary

Blogger comtedamour said ... (9:52 AM) :

she looks great, i bit too much put together, but a great smile without attitude.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:09 PM) :

That's some hair! And a megawatt smile!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:49 PM) :

She looks like a Gap girl. In a good way i guess.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:17 PM) :

oh she's got a smile julia roberts would be jealous

not to mention her perfectly slouchy boots and slouchy grey cardigan. Nice way to wear those trends.

she looks like a girl from an old navy ad, insanely adorable

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:11 AM) :

This picture is amazing. Everybody is right, the smile is what makes it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:52 AM) :

This picture illustrates the power of a great photographer to really capture an individual's personality. The outfit is lovely, but nothing groundbreaking, the smile is what sets the whole thing off. Fantastic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:00 PM) :

Amazing... luv the new layered look translated into outwear (smaller top layer over larger base)

Blogger 'signorina' said ... (6:07 PM) :

I tend to agree with Anonymous 6:44 - it's less about the clothes for me, and more about how fabulous she is. She'd be beautiful in a burlap bag.

It made me think: I dislike most of the trends that she's wearing here, but she's so beautiful and radiant that I can forgive her. It makes me think of "First Wives' Club": "youth and beauty, man - youth and beauty."

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:47 AM) :

she has a really cool attitude, but the outfit feels like last winter!! is it suppose to?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:25 AM) :

Love it. Woman looks confident and knows she's attractive who probably looks good in everything. The look doesn't look studied but rather a non chalant style (although it does take coordination) but I guess the attitude needs to go along to pull it off without appearing contrived.
