Comments on "On The Street......Hudson Street, New York"
Like everything about it - except the hat which I´m not so sure about.
But the matching of color, the contrast with the beautiful bike, the shoes - really stylish.
Oh, wow, this goes beyond fashion. They look like a beautiful painting! This is just amazing, Scott.
What a great shot! his hat is very cool and the bike, shoes and all the rest are perfect!
This wonderfully brazen...
I'm always delighted to see everyday fashion commitment.
Maravilloso!!!!
this is a marvelous shot. great moment captured, AND a just-flamboyant-enough subject. those shoes!
Cool bike. I dig her kick-stand.
Will you just publish that book already? It could be called "The Art of the Sart"! Excellent show of throwing caution to the wind style here - love the red bike, tiger stripes, 2 tone shoes - it all works for this person.
The sartorial cyclist makes a comeback .
(First appearance)
Such flair - I'd love to see his shoe collection.
Its so London! I miss London.
Crazy dude! The hat hair combo is so flamboyant! I like it. Fun to meet him on the street.
you could publish a book on this guys style for 365 days...he works in my neighb' and looks A M A Z I N G everday!!!
Yeah, he's a sales associate at Destination, and I love the cap toe shoes he's wearing (I think they're Kashura, which we sadly don't get enough of in NYC). He always turns it out.
damn!
The word 'talented' sprang to my mind when I saw this outfit, it that this guy must have a lot of it to put this oufit together without looking like he's tried (although it's not something I would wear personally).
Isn't he the same guy you took a picture of some time ago when he was wearing a fur coat.
It is obvious that he is not afraid to take risks and be bold. I admire that!
Wow - he has taken in every little detail. Have to respect that.
A lot of the brilliance of so many conventionally ugly wearables has to do with the personality of the wearer, and this man and his hat just go to prove my point.
Man or woman? Either way, i love the hat.
First reaction: What THE...?
Calmed down reaction: He's too cool for me. It walks the line between standoffishly snobby and unfailingly insane.
Oh, and nice color usage but the metallic cherry red bike throws me off.
mltt
riding around with a sharp umbrella is pretty hazardous tho
You should change the title of this post to "people who are trying way too hard to get attention by the way they dress!"
Thats a friend of mine, he looks fantastic as usual!!
I have great respect for the thought, planning and time that has gone into this guy's look. It's not my personal style, but I'm betting he has the character, personality and confidence to pull it off!
I like the cap toes and the umbrella.
Did I say that out loud?
oh my god, it's like a surreal painting. how is that guy not falling over? amazing. "suspension of belief" for sure. the fact that he's balancing between his bike and umbrella, and his hat is also balanced precariously on his head... what an ALIVE visual composition.
Oh wow, a pimpcycle! But seriously, how elegant. Shoes, hat, sweater, balancing his bike with an umbrella... This guy knows who he is -- no explanation, excuse, or compromise.
ooo, too cool style. i can't tell...man or woman? ahhhaha
there is this woman in berkeley, ca that reminds me of this person. excpet she was decked out in a HUF sweatsuit and matching bike.
Is that a leopord-skin pill-box hat a la Bob Dylan?
Is he an og sartorialist posting refound? I remember a dapper gentleman on a bike, with a fur, and possibly some similar fantastic shoes? theatrical, exuberant, and wonderful.
georgeous - the shoes are fabulous. Great shot. That's steestyle I like most.
Cool guy!
He's not just a sales associate at Destination. His name is Parrish and he's a hat designer, too (hence the chapeau). The store sells his creations, which are definitely not for wallflowers.
the shoes!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't believe no one has mentioned these two words yet: "Arthur Lee"!
It's the hat with the underneath headwrap combo which instantly reminded me of the late LA style icon. It's very Arthur-ish.
Amazing. Love this.
ha ha loving the umbrella balancing instrument.
AMAZING!!!
Hat-PERFECT!!!
