Comments on "On The Street.....Casual Friday Done Right, Midtown"
Casual with an elegance about it...nothing short of perfection!
very good!
Wow! Major pockets...
He’s wearing bench made (maybe even bespoke) English/French/Italian shoes or city boots on a slim last with chisel or narrow round toes. They’re in the brown family, either suede or box calf. Can’t see them in the picture, but everything else is perfect, so I know the shoes are too.
I wonder what kind of shoes he is wearing?
Said it before and will say it again ....Patch pockets are always welcome here. can't get enough of them ....they add so much personality and personal style...whether it's casual Friday or even being paired with a shirt and tie.
Lastly expensive can help to get closer to style but carrying it off and knowing how to care for you fine wardrobe ...whole other story ....sorry style does not come automatically when purchasing expensive clothes.....that would be too easy.
Ooo, great hair!
Other than the pocket, which is genius, I must say that this is just...staid.
I love the pockets on the jacket, which makes it much less formal and much more 'weekend in the country'.
dear sarto,
what are his pants actually? are they jeans? i can't tell on my monitor...
wonderful work as always!
alex
that's a huuuuge pocket.
That's... "casual" friday?
Man do I love my job.
what cool pockets!
It looks like he has a little black cat in his chest pocket...I'm assuming that's just a trick of the eye, and that it's actually a pocket square?
...Or maybe he's a VERY gifted pocket square folder...
Either way, he looks great.
I don't like his huge jacket pocket; it detracts from the look.
I don't care for the blazer. It is the military stule pocket that I find jarring, particularly where the pocket's sharp right angles jut towards the rounded cuta away at the from=nt of the coat. Were the pockets rounded, I would concur, but I dislike they way these pop out.
Dear Sart -- Great shot, love everything about this handsome man and his attire! Congrats on all the wonderful photos you have taken with your new camera on your recent assignments in Europe and, of course, at home. Oh, by the way, I canceled subscriptions to four women's fashion magazines because they weren't doing as good a job as you.
Great bellow pockets, like a refined Norfolk jacket. Very sharp guy, the look is casually elegant.
That is one great jacket. Love the pockets!
Perfect style! This guy looks reat and for my office this is everyday casual! More like this!
Casual and elegant in the strict confines of an investment bank on a friday but very unadventurous anywhere else.
It doesn't miss by much though. An interesting scarf and a slightly sharper jacket & shirt combo would do it, in my book at least.
What color are his trousers?
Damn, wish I could look that good!
That is one cool jacket! Love the pockets and the whole look!
Such a great shot! What a gorgeous man! The jacket makes the whole casual look so classy. I think the cut of the jacket, the pocket square, the sleeve buttons, and the comfy large pockets all work well together. Classy casual. Nice.
Alex,
They are jeans. Dark blue wash.

This guy looks fantastic.
Perfect look for the friday afternoon, in 15 years I hope I will be that handsome.
Is he wearing denim?
