Comments on ""Just paperbag it", Paris"
Still sunny in Les Tuileries...
lovelly girl...
there are so many girls like her in Paris that flote arrond being totally deconstructed versions of chic. I like them. Of course deconstruction scares the hell out of convention.
love the paperbag waist
This looks ridiculous to me. I thought the 80's were finished, and everyone agreed that the fashions were awful. Now its stylish?
Couldnt I get the same effect bu purchasing pants 4 sizes too large and using a piece of rope to hold them up?
She looks great. Love the black and white. Her hair style really suits the look too.
Gorgeous - just absoultely gorgeous
She's cute, but I hate the paperbag waist in that it's (weirdly) totally uncomfortable.
wait...is paperbagging tucking your shirt in or??
-confused
Her hair adds a little to the look too. I love it!!!!
i swear i see my life flashing before my eyes -- the platforms, opaque hosiery, graphic prints, smocked tops and dresses, and now the paperbag waist. worn low like this is a new take, however, and a decided improvement.
Anon--paperbagging is when the waist is larger than necessary and gathered.
OMG, She is sooooooooooo HOT!
You've lost me now, I'm sitting here pondering how cool I thought Mallory was. The whole pretty-but-dumb thing was completely lost on me - I was too little and saw only the pretty.
I wanted to BE Mallory. Sigh.
French women can pull ANYTHING off. No need for a purse. No makeup. They can pretty much wear whatever they want with just a cigarette and cup of coffee as accessories. HOW do they do that??
gosh,
her ring is perfect!
I can't really tell, but the belt seems to be doing something interesting. Never saw a paper bag look so good. What's the secret?
