Hello, this young man is one of Hedi Slimane's assistant...

Love the jacket but that 'mop' has got to go. Maybe there was a sudden gust of wind that pushed all that hair forward. Maybe...never mind.

Oh Jordy! The very talented accessories designer of Dior Homme. Nice jacket! It's probably the aforementioned designer too non?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:33 AM) :

As with the photo of Stephano Tonchi earlier, I'm noticing quite long jacket sleeves, practically to the knuckles. It seems to contribute to the long, lean look. Is this a trend, or just these two photos, or my imagination? - JCH

P.S. - Why is it that an upturned collar is so dramatic? It just is.

beatles...

Sleeves do not fit...

Wow...I don't know what to say to this one.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:50 AM) :

jacket is too plain!

Blogger Butch said ... (12:26 PM) :

Hard to really see the jacket, but this single-button, single- breasted item with peaked lapels doesn't make it, in my opinion. And--yikes!--the sleeve's way too long....

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:01 PM) :

That jacket would kick even more ass if he'd turn the collar back down where it belongs.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:10 PM) :

bit too hip.

love photog shadows in pics though!

Blogger Flint said ... (3:44 PM) :

JCH has it right, the extra long sleeves are beautiful in the way they make everything look longer and leaner. They make it unlikely the jacket can be worn formally but I think it looks gorgeous this way.

Collar up against the elements? He is outside after all. One must have fun with their clothes somehow right? Enforced orthodoxy is terribly boring.

Interesting angle: It's the one-armed, one-legged, one-breasted man! We can all be grateful he has a whole head. Funny, no?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:20 PM) :

this is gorgeous, period. how can you argue with this boy's look!? jealousy, is my guess....

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:54 PM) :

oh. that IS a popped collar. i was much happier when i thought it was a scarf. love everything else, though. and i definitely approve of the sleeve length. it's fresh. so long as you don't mind all the polite suggestions of good tailors...

Blogger Moose said ... (9:32 PM) :

It's a sixties "mod" look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:40 AM) :

LOVE the collar!

Blogger Stratos Bacalis said ... (9:15 AM) :

The emaciated look is not my cup of tea...the guys at the background looks much more interesting. I like the upturned collar though.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:31 PM) :

that's his tall boyfriend's jacket, that's why the sleeves are too long. He just gave him a blowjob; boyfriend was so satisfied he messed up the kid's hair! Jacket is upturned because he's out cold looking for a cigarette.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:34 PM) :

I am going to go against the grain and say he looks incredibly sexy. Boyish yet experienced and conservatively experimental... that duality is sexy to me. Oh, and I have a thing for pretty redheads.

The jacket length is perfect. Unless you're wearing a tux, or working in a boardroom, it isn't necessary to show that inch of shirt anymore. Shorter sleeves makes you look like, well... like you're wearing a tux or working in a boardroom! It's stuffy, and old-fashioned. I've been wearing longer sleeves for years - same length as the shirt - and my tailor is A-OK with it. It's more relaxed, and creates a longer, slimmer line.
