Her hair style and the high collar of her jacket fit beautifully together. Love her stance too!
hmmmm...not sure if I'm loving this one. the colored tights, the flats, that yellow print top, it's a lot to take. she looks like an action figure doing a final pose before she zaps you into oblivion.
I really really love her "I can take anything on" stance, love her attitude! and her tights are a great colour.
the collar makes this look for me. mixed with the yellow and majenta, its like...playful vampire.
I would never have pictured this color combination (the pale yellow in the shirt and the bold red/maroon tights). It looks awesome!
An inspiring look! To me the skirt pays homage to the kilt. I love the accessorizing - almost wishing our subject was wearing a sporran. Sporrans are not just for male Highlanders anymore. This photograph makes me long to be in The Marais right now.
Her shoes look really cute. Plus, very confident pose.
Yet again I have to ask, are you a certified fashion photographer, if not you should be working the covers and editorials of the world. This pic makes me one to put on my red opaques, i somewhat fear!
Thanks Sart
Sarah
kisses from Sverige!
OMG, tie me up and whip me baby!
She looks like a riot.
she looks like geena davis.
hmm... i'm not sure if i'm loving this one either. the tights and flats aren't working.
every short skirt demands a high heel. if you're going to show that much leg (opaque or not) - heels, heels, heels.
and she definitely has the legs for short skirts!
and, oh, those shots on style.com! the bookends of the woman in the trench and beret and the man with the plaid bag and beret, so great! ain't no thing like paree!
Her attitude makes the outfit.
miss dish says:
...every short skirt demands a high heel. if you're going to show that much leg (opaque or not) - heels, heels, heels...
And I feel exactly the opposite! I think such a short skirt usually looks out of proportion (not to mention kind of cheesy) with heels. I guess some men might like heels + short skirt, but then again lotsa women like burly men with beards and tank tops.
But I digress. I love this look, and of course I need opaque colored tights now.
miss dish,
Usually, short skirt/dress + high heels = hooker
It's just so obvious...
I love the colors, love the clothes... I'm not really loving the 'watch me rock my model attitude' stance. I think the strength of this amazing blog is seeing people living their real lives with triumphant style. This pose is too self-aware for me.
who said anything about high heels? the flats are just so so so puritanical with the short skirt and opaque tights - a little too Quaker Day School for my taste, but to each his own...
Loving the way she's combining the burgundy with yellow and white. Great color combination.
Avant Garde!....is that the idea here......great height and she uses it to her advantage
My friend Anina! On The Sartorialist! I love it!
