TV Interview For Sofi's Fashion

I took a quick shot while being interviewed for a Swedish television program called Sofi´s Fashion hosted by Sofi Fahrman who is also the Fashion Editor of Scandinavia’s biggest Daily Newspaper Aftonbladet.

I will see if I can get a video clip of the interview for this blog if only to see myself dubbed in Swedish!

They usually do not dub anything in northern Europe. Instead, they use subtitles:)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:36 AM) :

heh yeah thats right, no dubbing here!

hope to see the interview soon then! Not the best channel (channel 5) or fashionreporter (sofie) but hey..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:36 AM) :

Very cute girl.
Thanks for your blog.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:38 AM) :

Yup, we don't dub anything in Sweden. So we'll get to hear your proper voice for sure. Can't wait to see this!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:09 AM) :

I live in Sweden, any idea of when it is going to air and which channel?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:12 AM) :

Do you know when the interview will be on tv? Usually I wouldn't give that airhead Sofi a minute of my time, but this time I will make an exception :-)

And as the previous comment stated, you will not be dubbed in Swedish (you got us confused with Germans)!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:14 AM) :

you won't be dubbed. they'll use subtitles. english is scandinavia's unofficial second language.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:17 AM) :

Blogger klara. said ... (5:47 PM) :

when is the show aired in sweden?

Blogger 'signorina' said ... (6:44 PM) :

If nothing else, Sofi seems to have the most amazing skin!

Blogger Kim said ... (8:18 PM) :

I think we've made it pretty clear by this point that we don't dub in Scandinavia ;)

In fact, we take great pride in our english skills. Dubbing is heavily frowned upon and is basically only for kids.

So if anything your comment is a light insult :)

Blogger pj said ... (5:42 AM) :

celia birtwell dress!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:20 AM) :

Yeah, of course we're insulted. On the other hand, us Swedes generally assume all Americans are uneducated and stupid. This is often the case, too! My favourite example of this is the girl I went to friggin' Harvard with. I was telling her about my boyfriend, who was doing military service at the time. She begged me to hook her up with a Swiss Army knife. Obviously, she was mortified when she realized 'Swiss' and 'Swedish' were two entirely different things.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:54 PM) :

I'm pretty sure that they post the show on the internet, on the "kanal 5" homepage, www.kanal5.se. They did that the last season.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:11 PM) :

I look forward to see the interview! =)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:50 PM) :

hey you.. love love love your blog! but still, here magazine is far from the biggest one in sweden!! far from it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:04 PM) :

Sofi Farhman really knows fashion! I look forward to watching the interview this fall. Alot of people here in Sweden reads this blog and one reason is that Farhman recommended it several times. I just love your photos! Keep up the good work!

Might just have to watch that interview though... love your blog (I've linked it from mine btw, hope it's ok).

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:57 PM) :

as a reply to vicky's comment.

Not that it matters too much but "her magazine", or the news paper she writes for is indeed the biggest daily news paper in Sweden as it is stated in the article. And by the biggest I mean it is the most sold daily news paper in Sweden.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:19 PM) :

Wow! Looking forward to seeing you on channel 5 then! Great blog! /Jennifer-Sweden

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:12 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:17 AM) :
