Stunning. Wish I had a heart-shaped face to pull this look off. So jealous.

Blogger MARIA H said ... (5:10 PM) :

young lady as in model?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:16 PM) :

wow...what a waist...literally! it's tiny!

i'm tellin' ya, i love this new camera of yours.

Muy linda chica!

Blogger Rafe Totengco said ... (6:11 PM) :

Love the short China doll bangs and the short Bob cut. Yes, very Louise Brooks and that red cinched belt is perfect with her striped tank. She looks like a cabaret dancer from the 20's taking a break from rehearsals. What a great candid shot. It almost looks like she posed for you. This could be an ad for Capezio!

such a great image!

very contemporary, yet timeless

my eyes are just drawn to that red belt. nice touch...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:41 PM) :

she looks absolutely stunning, so nice to see a model that has a 'statement' haircut.

sharp bobs like this are all around at the moment, aren;t they? i'm inspired by the pinky red bob on natalia in vogue, so i'm growing my hair out to do that! well, the style, not the colour...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:12 PM) :

i love her pose and her hair style. she reminds me a bit of the girl who played emily in "the devil wears prada" movie!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:13 PM) :

I love the black-white-red combination....always classy. She looks very mod, but updated...looks good

Blogger Julia said ... (9:07 PM) :

I love everything about this shot, her look, her hair, her gaze, superb!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:09 PM) :

Whew - and a well composed photograph, to boot!

Blogger Lady Apple said ... (9:10 PM) :

she does look great! her hair is excellent and it enhances her outfit!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:55 PM) :

Uncanny resemblance..her waist appears even more tinier as it already is, cinched in w/ her belt.

Very good look about her.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:46 AM) :

Sart, you are a great photographer, no doubt! But I would have to say that this new camera took you to a new level, don't you think? This picture is so perfect, it could be in any glossy magazine or fashion book! Congrats!

Blogger LovaGirl said ... (3:56 AM) :

she looks like Tony & Guy's model. Very well could be.

Blogger Sissy said ... (4:13 AM) :

The bob is back!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:51 AM) :

What a beautiful haircut.....She seems like Swing out sisters' singer.

She looks a little like Natalie Portman in Closer. Great style and one of the most memorable picture I've seen on this blog so far...

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (8:28 AM) :

She looks fantastic! Love the stripes and the rustic red of the belt. Composition of the photo is lovely too.

Blogger Victor said ... (1:39 PM) :

My first thought was Natalie Portman in the Professional.

Blogger hoi polloi said ... (1:40 PM) :

Are the twenties next?...oooh I hope so! I've been waiting for the 20's to come into fashion in a big way!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:57 PM) :

If she had a white blouse I'd be thinking Uma Thurman in that famous Quintin Tarentino movie?

Blogger la femme said ... (9:05 PM) :

This photo is exquisite. I just did an entry about the 'bob' trend. Love it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:49 AM) :

Please, people! Natalie Portman's look was itself a rip-off of Louise Brooks. She was the original! Google the lady if you don't know who she is. Now that that cranky outburst is out of the way, I have to say, I'm jealous of her tiny waist and I agree that this photo is gorgeous.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:10 AM) :

Gorgeous! I wish I had straight hair so i could pull off the haircut... bummer!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:01 PM) :

alison nix completely unrecognizable with new hair cut. she is the one of the "it models" this season. patricia scmid etc.

Blogger Laura(southernxyl) said ... (10:52 PM) :

I've seen some '20's-inspired clothes in the stores. They remind me of "Thoroughly Modern Millie" - remember that? With Julie Andrews and Mary Tyler Moore and Carol Channing?

Louise Brooks

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:43 PM) :

It's a exact copy of Natalie Portman in Luc Bessons film Leon... With Jean Reno.
