Comments on "On the Street.....Black Velvet, London"
Both girls have edgy and interesting look. They both would be more beautiful with a little bit smile, I guess. However, they have a true sense of style. All the londaners have great style or is it you that capture the great style. Well, in both ways or either way, Thanks for the posts.
Hey, tell those Brits to smile for crine out loud!!
genius hair. love your pics. found some of myself on style.com from nyc fashion week!
I like the first girl and her outfit - A LOT! So simple and so stylish...
great looks and great inspiration!!! the second one is so pretty.
A
love the top girl, shes got bad girl attitude and sexy with it. love the look but im not sure of those ankle booty things, i dont think they flatter a womans legs much?
that first girl looks trashy...maybe it is the over the shoulder look...
I love the 1st girls 'flashdance' T shirt underneath that bustier dress. The finishing touch is that ankle bootie. It's all about the ankle bootie this Fall. We sold out of ours already and we have a waiting list for anyone who might just return it. It's crazy.
second pic has a sultry look et tout va bien.
Jeeeeesus! Really too trash for me. Maybe just the black dress on the first picture. But only without that white "what is that?" T-shirt.
Totally the best London shots so far!
Tough glamour, with matching attitude, at least for Sart. :)
you saying that it's black velvet i automatically like the outfits better - because from the pictures it could;ve been anything (wool, jersey)...
The second girl has such a wonderful face and expression! And the hair... astonishing!
Sexxxxy!
wow. these ladies are rad. attitude + style.
Love these! 80s vibe with personal style and modern attitude added--a departure from the more literal--and less original--mimicking of 80s fashion (see elongated pink sweatshirt dress--ah, but at least she looks genuinely happy).
What's with these lanyard ID tags (also see "Red Dot Dress")? I understand the need for workplace security, but are these girls wearing these clothes to work?
Love your blog.
the second woman is GORGEOUS!
The details, the hair, the skin: beautiful!
the woman in the second shot -- love the white ruffles, the 3/4-length sleeve, the shine on the bag with the mat velvet, and oh, the hair. the first woman, not so much -- that '80s thing again. either it's tired or i'm just tired of it. but black velvet is a look i would enjoy seeing out and about. re the "london vs. nyc" crack (or anywhere vs. anywhere, for that matter) -- let's not go there because that would just be stupid and so not the point, right?
i may just need those green shades. and the attitude.
ehh--- sorta, but i think this girl has cooler hair than chanel,a dn chanel's face is shorter and wider, her eyes are larger as well--and she is real teeny
Is that Lisa Bonet?!
black velvet in the sunlight. too gorgeous. the 1st girl's white legs are the perfect compliment. as is the 2nd girl's black curly hair.
interesting how the citizens of London pose, compared with New Yorkers (generally), do you ask them to?
