Comments on "On The Street.....Black Jumper, West Village"
Pinafore!
I love the color of the flats; very unexpected.
Whatever it is, the strap configuration is perfect. Great idea.
The skirt jumper is marc by marc ss 06!
PINAFORE FAN tooo!
the shoes are in a excellent blue shade!
Hi Scott, love your site/blog. I am Australian and love to have a daily peek. Question - do you only photograph very skinny ladies? Or are they all like that in NY? Or do you have a special camera? Or are only skinny ladies stylish? Just an observation from a skinny (well 115lbs) Aussie lass.
Agree with Nia's strap configuration comment - it makes this for me, and gives me some good ideas!
Very cool. I would though have chosen another bag..
Seeing her brings to mind sailing. Not the appalling (sorry, but I really do feel that they are) sailing outfits, but rather the Feeling of slowly gliding through the Stockholm archipelago with friends on a summer day.
Excellent! Great example of American-English and English-English collide. Here in London I read the title and then sat for several seconds looking at the picture, thinking "Where is the jumper?"
Then ... I remembered my American relatives puzzled faces when I said to them "I think it's quite cold out, you might need to take a jumper".
A single culture divided by a language etc etc ... :-)
A thought about dippy shoes: What if "dippyness" is her statement? Not everybody dresses to state seriousness or compliance with rules of some establishments, and for that be out of fashion. In terms of shape I prefer this to the ugly flip flops.
really really nice, I like it :D
I love the shoes and the clothes, but her slouch is a little too much. so many people would look better if they worked on their posture.
I second anonymous' comment about her posture. Standing tall is the style equivalent of repainting a room.
"Standing tall is the style equivalent of repainting a room."
I'd say standing tall is the style equivalent of repainting a room *white*.
Variation in posture and physical demeanor are - by definition - intrinsic to personal style.
I love this...love her hair. and the flats are great
very cool indeed.
