On The Street...Bangles and Bracelets and Cuffs, Oh My!

I'm not much for jewelry on men - I don't even wear a watch - but for some guys it just seems to work. I certainly think it is a nice contrast to the slim cut Thom Browne shirt.

The pants make him look curvaceous. The shoes are dismal. The bracelets look like they came from Urban outfitters' bargain bin. Why so much wristware: is he in chains? Tis the year of the watch--get one, and rid yourself of the human bondage.

How can you tell that this is a Thom Browne shirt?

Ooh, nice. I like that they're black, too.

i think its fun. i just wish that he was wearing dark denim jeansa ina slight bootcut--h erwould look so much better.

Love his shirt! He is hottttt!!!!!!

is it a pattern? are generic lace shoes gaining terrain in the face of the opulent shoe years? MMMM, interesting.

May 1st Man revisited. Great to see the uptown and downtown persona. Shows to go ya..the right classic white shirt, with the right cut and proportion and the right jeans on the right guy with the right style and attitude with the right accessories...is always right. It's simple.

Love his top and accessories, but I'm not all together sure I'm enthusiastic about his bottom half. The rolled pant cuffs do something odd to the shape of his legs. Maybe if the pants were slimmer, it would've worked better.

You've shot him before back in June. He is the Thom Browne specialtist at BG.

Men should wear watches - it's very sexy.

The pants are okay - together with the shoes, it's very comfy casual. It's the curved cut at the bottom of the shirt that makes him look slightly, er, thick in the thighs.

Rolled-up cuffs saves/makes the look...

i love a really nice wristwatch on a guy...but all these bracelets...i don't think that they look good with the outfit

There is little chance those are "generic" shoes.
He works at BG and wears TB everyday.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:40 AM) :

What's brilliant about his look is the pairing of a hyper slim cut TB shirt with those pre Blimpie diet wide jeans. It's great that he's not wearing the predictable slim cut thing head to toe. I think he's actually really fresh looking. He's part man couture/part farmer john. He's actually taken the essence of the casual chic man uniform and reinvented it.

I like the way the assertive color of the umbrella in the background works with the B&W of the outfit. It also seems to echo his jaunty attitude. Good photo.

He looks fabulous!

if this guy were wearing boring straight rolled jeans (bootcut? i won't even go there..) and just a plain watch like everyone else, his picture probably wouldn't even be up here. the fact that he can throw together an outfit like this and still look super cute is what makes him stylish. i personally think that the bracelets are a much more interesting alternative to what are considered traditionally "masculine" accessories and he def. pulls them off. as for the curvaceous part...i doubt it. this guy's hips probably measure about 30" and the bagginess of the pants and the fact that they aren't filled out just accentuates his slimness... O_o

Don't even wear a watch? How do you get on time then? Or is it like your perfect excuse to be fashionably late?

XO

I use the watch on my cellphone - doesn't everyone now do that?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:04 AM) :

He looks handsome and slim, not curvaceous at all. Very stylish. Well done!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:04 AM) :

To be perfectly honest, I do relly much more on my cellphone to check the time, however I love the idea of wearing a watch... Plus u guys have so few options to accessorize...
