this is such a free spirited look. love the sandals, the atitude.

When you have legs that skinny, I don't think you should be wearing shorts that short. But hey, vive la difference! It was a hot summer day and especially in the city, you want to let the breeze in wherever you can. He looks happy and breezy.

Okay, sorry, but his shorts are too short. "That's way too much Peter before coffee..."

Is the woman is the same woman who appeared last month as On The Street........Fashion Insiders Working Wardrobe, New York? The faces are similar, as are the posture and stance. She/They look lovely either way.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:16 AM) :

THE DRESS! I love it, I love it, I love it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:46 AM) :

I *love* that dress! The prints are so pretty and it just looks so light weight and cool. Beautiful!

Not a big fan of the guy's outfit, seems too scruffy. I do like the yellow overshirt he's got on, but if he just paired it with something other than shorts and a beater barely fit for sleeping in - perhaps it would work. The girls outfit is very cute and relaxing.

btw! I love your work. You have found dream job doing something you love and that is incredibly inspiring. We should all be so lucky!

Blogger you've got everything now said ... (11:45 AM) :

its all about big cuffed shorts this season

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:19 PM) :

Wow. Check out that guy's thighs (or lack of)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:36 PM) :

That girl's outfit is awesome.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:58 PM) :

Okej, i just love that dress. I think if got everything! You can have if like she does or at winter you can wear it whit thights and a cool short jacket. Il´ve been looking for a similar dress but haven´t found one. plus it seems like the girl got the persenality to match her look!

One of the most interesting things in a flea market are the visitors and their "flea market" attire. Love both of the looks, specially the airiness of the girl:kind of the perfect rich hippie.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:42 PM) :

The girl looks great but I think the guy bought his outfit after he got to the flea market.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:28 PM) :

I love this dress, the entire look, everything. She and the Tiffany VP win my vote for the male and female dressing with the best-fitting, best-looking outfits that also have a certain whimsy about them.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:58 PM) :

At first I thought the woman was holding a knife in her right hand, but now I see that she is making some sort of gesture, perhaps shaking her fist.

Blogger Marcy said ... (2:59 PM) :

That dress is way cool.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:40 PM) :

i like the haircut on the guy!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:51 PM) :

I think short shorts for men will not be popular in the U.S. for years to come, as much as the European designers want to feed them down our throats.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:52 PM) :

I've gotta disagree about a lot of work going into the guy's outfit. My guess is that he showed up to the flea market in the tank top and shorts and then bought the shirt and just tossed it on.

I'm not a fan of a bracelet on the same wrist as a watch, especially this particular pairing.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:41 PM) :

Her look is very sexy.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:52 PM) :

I think he is way cute- and so happy! He looks like an artist friend of mine.

Blogger Butch said ... (5:55 PM) :

Not sure there was terribly much premeditation by the guy concerning his look (see the post just above this), but the proportions--over-shirt to shorts--and impromptu cuffing are interesting....

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:55 PM) :

The guy is cute!

Blogger Lady Apple said ... (6:00 PM) :

i'm not sure that i like the guys look too much...but the girl..she is just stunning!

Blogger Teri said ... (6:04 PM) :

I love both of their looks...so unique. I also love the way they dress as their spirits go. The guy has the perfect smile. That smile & that style...come on...you can't find a guy like him everywhere... The girl is just as gorgeous as her dress.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:28 PM) :

ahaha! the guy just cracks me up =) you know, i admire his bravery for wearing shorts. I think longer would suit better.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:42 PM) :

I love both of their looks! The girl is stunning!!

Blogger Laurence John said ... (2:34 AM) :

the low belt makes her look short legged.
bring back the natural waist.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:58 AM) :

They both are well dressed ... I agree with a few of the above posts regarding the guy ... many just wont get it, but it's clear he has planned this outfit perfectly ... he looks great ... & as for the comments about how 'thin' he is ... like girls, us guys have to be thin to fit the best designers & to make the look work ... I mean, a guy that takes a 42" jacket & has a 34" waist just aint going to make dior homme work ...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:31 AM) :

Fleaboy was the right name for his photo!

Blogger Glamourbibliotekaren said ... (5:50 AM) :

I love that fleamarket!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:15 AM) :

LOOOOOVEEES THAT DREESSSS!!!

"I mean, a guy that takes a 42" jacket & has a 34" waist just aint going to make dior homme work .."

That is exactly the problem with Dior Homme

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:44 AM) :

Dior Homme is only a problem if you can't fit the clothes ... to make it work you need to be thin ( p.s - my previous post regarding 42" jacket - I used U.K sizes as opposed to European - I meant 52" ) ...
