Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:05 AM) :

mine too.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:08 AM) :

This girl really looks like my cousin. Did you get her name? I think her style is very unique and cool, I can see why you consider this one of your favorite shots. She's very unique.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:53 AM) :

love the way her belt is worn. i thought i was the only one who did that.

(:

Blogger Monomonkey said ... (5:54 AM) :

She got the edgy chic look, love the sexy hairstyle too. Is she wearing Birkenstock?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:43 AM) :

Now the only question that remains is if that's a boy or a girl :P

Blogger Miss B said ... (6:47 AM) :

Effortlessly stylish...love it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:01 AM) :

Nice! Like a young Mia Farrow.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:02 AM) :

too many women on your paris trip... .-)

Blogger Jan said ... (7:44 AM) :

I love her hair.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:03 AM) :

This is one of my favoite shots, ever.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:18 AM) :

She looks beautiful , sexy , cool , classy..... i love her.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:25 AM) :

That's badass that she put the belt buckle off to the side. Tres chic little gamine girl!

Blogger Broady said ... (8:49 AM) :

She's working the classic jeans/crisp white shirt look, but mixing it up with a dose of androgyny. She reminds me of Mia Farrow in days gone by...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:13 AM) :

i'm not sure if that is a boy or a girl, but they look fantastic. the confidence!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:16 AM) :

Wow , Mia Farrow's back

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:22 AM) :

pretty unbelievable. jean seberg. your trip once again affirms that paris easily remains thé fashion and style capital of the world. i'm awed by their guts and sheer joie de habiller.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:43 AM) :

So cute and stylish! This is what I think of when I think of French chic. Being able to make the simplest outfit seem vibrant and special.

And it doesn't hurt that she looks so comfortable in front o fthe camera. I love the look on her face. She just *knows* that she looks good. Confidence is what really makes that outfit rock.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:40 AM) :

Beautiful... such classic style. I love women who can pull off this haircut. Love her belt worn to the side. Everything... plus a great attitude! Is that young Mia Farrow ;-)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:03 AM) :

i can see why! the simply style ... the hair! wow. it's beautiful all around. cheers! mav

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:07 AM) :

great shot!! This gal has that 60s Mia Farrow vibe that is awesome. I like the way she buckles her belt off to the side on the hip, nice 1950s touch.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:21 AM) :

Perfection! This is the Paris I dream of...Thank you for the perfect summer Jean Seberg moment.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:59 AM) :

she or he?
sorry...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:14 PM) :

It didn't catch my eye till after I had spent some time admiring the hair, but...damn, I love that belt turned sideways! Glad to see other girls doing it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:18 PM) :

That´s a great haircut....short hair was created for features like those, a quirky sexy angel.

The white shirt is superb, the jeans are great not too tight but close to the body.Great shades too...
In two words:
Great picture!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:55 PM) :

I love her.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:16 PM) :

Holy mad love. Is that Mia Farrow or Jean Seberg? Everyone's got a white shirt like this. Everyone's got a pair of cropped jeans. But not everyone can put it all together to get this.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:52 PM) :

Amazing, beautiful. This is my ideal right here.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:18 PM) :

Androgeny is the new black.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:10 PM) :

I would love somebody could shoot me with so much talent.
Natural and well-being... no more to look good and be charming but... catch it on a picture: Bravo again! This girl looks beautiful, peaceful, energetic.
I have to acknowledge I guess I am becoming a sartorialistaddict ;)
I'm listening to "La Ritournelle" by Sebastien Tellier It's an interesting match.
Thx 4 sharing your photos.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:39 PM) :

oh, to be thin enough to wear my own shirts tucked in and still reveal such an elegant line...!

Blogger Pamphilia said ... (3:40 PM) :

Way to go, Sartorialist! Thanks for showing us that you don't have to be ultra-feminine or masculine to be cool. This one is rocking the androgyne look!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:41 PM) :

girl?

Blogger VDOprincess said ... (4:40 PM) :

Wow. If only I could be that chic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:10 PM) :

I like the sideways belt--when did this come in, or go out of, style?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:11 PM) :

Gorgeous!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:36 PM) :

Was she sitting with Jean Paul Belmondo?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:46 PM) :

this girl~boy is perfect.

Blogger Anastasia said ... (9:27 PM) :

great beatnik look - lovely!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:08 PM) :

I really don't understand the uproar over this photo. A skinny chick with short hair? I'm sensing a bit of the Emperors New Clothes syndrome here.

As for the people asking whether this woman is a boy or girl. Exactly. It is a woman turning out a boy-girl look.

Are there no chic people over the age over 50 in Paris. Of course there are...please let's see them.

The posts are starting to look like Teen Vogue Scott.

Blogger Adam Wray said ... (11:57 PM) :

Effortless style. Great shot, Sartorialist, this woman is gorgeous.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:44 AM) :

I believe it is a she, very stylish in a punk sort of way. I was puzzled too but just look at the arms, ankles, shoes...the rest is hard, but the hair, short as it is has the style of a womans/girls cut.

Blogger ML said ... (3:02 AM) :

I'm not sure why some people are obsessing over gender. Either way, I think we can agree this is a great shot, crisp outfit, and tres chic!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:40 AM) :

Sartorialist - was she French? Did you talk to her? I really have to find this out, because I'm telling you she looks exactly like my cousin, who by the way also has really great style (and who isn't French)
Anyway I think this is also one of my favorite looks. There's something about her that makes me think she's so fascinating and looks efortlessly cool even 5 seconds before going to bed.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:14 AM) :

cool!! like a supermodel

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:15 AM) :

Jean Seberg wannabe maybe?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:30 AM) :

Chic and modern.
I'm a fashion lover in Brazil. I'm crazy about the bike photos and all this looks.
Ok, you got taste.
This is all i'm asking for!
kiss

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:18 PM) :

I think she's french. I used to see her every morning of the Quay d'Orsay, and yes with the same style

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:51 PM) :

she looks like jean seburg in breathless.....i met js in san francisco in 1956 or 7....she had just finished ST. Joan. She was so fresh and lovely...and kind.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:51 AM) :

She looks like a young Mia farrow

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:15 PM) :

The French know how to wear clothes (even though Jean Seberg was American wasn't she?) - what they DON'T know how to do is experiment or try the unsafe...........the PARIS streets are filled with men wearing the same shirt rolled up just below the elbow and jeans, they all look great but it certainly isn't LONDON

Blogger Yi said ... (1:03 PM) :

i wish i could pull off a mia farrow crop too! She looks amaazing.. You really do know how to capture that effortless feel of life..
