Comments on "On The Steps At Versace"
Such a fantastic photo !!!
Lovely picture Sart.
I have lots of work to do but can´t stop with your beautiful blog !!
Help!!!
That could quite possibly be the new Versace ad! It really looks like it could be an ad for 4 inch stillettos!
impressive work, keeps me coming back each and every day
The motion in this photo is beautiful.
much love all the way from the tiny island of Singapore!!
i've gone through ALL of your archives and photos..
but THIS one rocks the entire library!
good one Scott!
This is a great picture!
this picture is a masterpiece.
Nice. Would love to see the rest of her. Beautiful legs.
Great photo!
A ZZ Top song comes to mind.
Man, that was some serious legs.
great picture.
women and their stilettos!
i love this photo!
Love it, love it, love it!
Dammit, great photo!
the black carpet make the steps look like there is a large gap between the concrete steps. for a minute i thought those gorgeous legs were floating their way up to versace.
Meisel, pure Meisel!
What a beautiful moment you captured with the mix of colors and textures - the silky skirt, rough granite, spiky heels..combined with the sense of movement. And, I must add that woman #1 has amazing legs (probably from wearing heels around Milan).
great pic
Those calves!!!
Those are some very gorgeous legs.
Ouch!
This is by far my favourite photo of yours ever (and not just because of two pairs of legs that would make Elle MacPherson sit down and cry).
But it would appear that the woman on the left has both feet off the ground! She's running. In *those* heels....
:-o
Now THIS is the Sart we know and love -- to say nothing of Italianate women and style. Bravo!
Excellent shot - you imagine wonderful things about the top half with legs like that!
One thing I will mention about the top part of the tan dress
side cleavage -alot
Oh I love this shot. Testament to the athleticism and determination of womankind.
Sart , please show us the top half........ poetry in motion , great pic
I guess that there are physical advantages to wearing stilletto heels. Hang the hammer-toe, neuromas and pain!
This is a breathtaking photo.
I wish I had seen this picture when I was a kid lamenting my too-thick calves and too-skinny ankles. I think it would have dried some of my tears. Thank you for this one. :)
Love this picture!
goregeous shot - sexy!
I'll say it again, your eye for composition is exact.
Such a beautiful photo...She is owning those shoes..
do you sell prints?
That pic tells everything about fashion, it's great.
its like henri cartier bresson...circa now...so chic
I agree with all the other comments - but substitute Cartier Bresson with Lartigue. Absolutely beautiful, you are an artist.
Lartigue - now we're talking - i love his work!
I have several books on his work
Love the Lartigue French Riviera shots - so beautiful and so stylish, very "Great Gatsby". One of the things I love about your site, Sartorialist, is that - as people comment - I do see hints of some of your influences in your photos (Bruce Weber, as someone commented on an earlier shot, et al). You have made a beautiful artform out of a mass-market, ephemeral and potentially crass phenomenon: thank you.
(You also daily make me want to transplant myself from Sydney to New York. Dammit.)
This is a beautiful picture. You previous blogger is correct, it is the perfect ad for someone. Excellent.
caught the right moment! excellent!
