The first photo in this post is beautiful. I prefer this one to the one of the girl in the café any day of the week!

It takes a lot of confidence to pull off transparent white trousers, but the first one does it with aplomb. Lovely.

The second picture! Love the colors ... black against the gray-white stone walls, and the unexpected pop of yellow! Love, love, love it!

Stunning. Now here are some looks that are almost iconic. The way the first woman interprets androgyny with a lean to the feminine is beautiful. I too adore the yellow shoes with the billowing black dress. Wishing I had that dress right now. Love the shoes on the muses in the last photo.

Would anyone dare to offer a comparison between the looks from Paris and the looks from Milan?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:50 PM) :

i'll take paris over milan any day.

#2 is an amazing shot...

Italian women do in-your-face-glam so well. I know, this is a cliche', but the tone of the dressing in Paris and Milan is so different. Both seem effortless - although I am now sitting here wondering how Italian women manage to pull off high-maintenance glam and make it look effortless. I've lived in Italy with Italian women, and the amount of work that goes in, and the pure sex appeal that comes out, can be truly depressing. The Parisians do look, I think, a little edgier however. Not to mention the differences in the use of colour. Sorry, raving now.
