I almost didn't dare comment because that photo and that girl and that setting and that lighting are just . . . perfect.

That's it, that's my comment: PERFECT.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:56 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:57 PM) :

Lots of pictures of women. No men worth taking pictures of lately?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:13 PM) :

Thank you for this gift, Sarto. Poetry in motion is right!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:40 PM) :

do you mean... "che bella fortuna"?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:42 PM) :

very off topic: those men you've shot so far, are so HOOOOOOOOOT!

Blogger Jan said ... (6:53 PM) :

Lovely pictures! And what a dress! You're a great photographer!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:14 PM) :

There's a real mystery to her. It's really tells a story I'm certainly not privy to.

I hope you frame that one.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:16 PM) :

Wow fantastic shot. When I look at your blog photos I always think well this is the best shot- but I think this REALLY IS the best shot so far.

I love Italy.

P.S. Please give anonymous the link to men.style immediately.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:27 PM) :

so stylish , wonderful shots

Blogger la femme said ... (8:54 PM) :

amazing

Blogger Anastasia said ... (10:01 PM) :

great shot!
that dress fits her perfectly but she is SO thin!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:57 AM) :

i totally agree, beautiful pictures, they have the atmosphere of a good tv commercial for an italian perfume.. i can just imagine a soft feminine voice with a little foreign accent whispering "roma...."

but seriously, i feel a little uncomfortable about glorifying the looks of this woman - a woman that has been working out so hard she looks severly emaciated. i work out myself, and i certainly like to maintain sculpted arms and abs and so on, but having been anorexic years ago, i find these pictures slightly scary and dangerous. especially as this woman is not a model.

Blogger Sissy said ... (5:34 AM) :

When you publish your first book with the best of the Sartorialist, this photo should be on the cover! ;->

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:02 AM) :

Perfect small is really beautiful too..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:44 PM) :

How is she running with those heels?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:34 AM) :

actually, i can run better in heels than walk, i know it sounds strange.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:26 AM) :

Simply stunning...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:12 AM) :

Your photos are beautiful, but what I have noticed more is so many kind comments..... how refreshing.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:03 PM) :

There is just something about a pretty woman running or striding down the street. This is a fantastic shot.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:48 PM) :

She has a perfect, flawless body, and she knows how to dress it.

The second shot takes my breath away. Its the beauty of human motion and of youth.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:18 AM) :

how very beautifully cinematic...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:05 PM) :

I love these two shots, she looks like she can defy the law of gravity. What a lucky man your are
to get to take such wonderfull photographs.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:41 AM) :

Sexy. Sexy. Sexy.
Is there anything sexier than a confident beautiful woman on the move? A perfect picture. Thanks for sharing.

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:00 PM) :

Its not the dress..

she can fly!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:52 AM) :

i'm wondering if you occasionally crave spontaenity-it is, after all, one thing to stop and get a person to pose in his/her outfit, and another to capture someone in his/her element, unaware and radiant.

when attempting this capture, one is actively appreciating the beauty of photographer.as Karl Lagerfeld explains--'i like photography because its all about the moment.. you can't re-create it'

love love. :)

Blogger Steve said ... (10:40 AM) :

These two shots need to be together to be effective. One without the other would not have the same impact.

Together they are alive, active, and very sexy.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:58 AM) :

The femininity in the second photo is incredible, from her hair, jaw, shoulder, arm, breast down to her backside. It s exagerated by her pose in the first photo which to me looks quite masculine in a sprinters way. Its all revealed through a delicate dress.
Great!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:12 PM) :

Beautiful! She looks very Kate Moss to me.

the 2nd shot is just perfect!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:49 AM) :

she all in the air in the first shot.... and its all falling right on her

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:11 PM) :

running on high heels!

Blogger Saraid said ... (10:33 PM) :

Gorgeous. This woman looks so stunning and natural.

Blogger Unknown said ... (4:15 PM) :

Proof that God likes to tease us, and that He/She has amazingly good taste.

Anonymous gole said ... (12:13 PM) :

GREAT SHOTS, GREAT SECOND!!!

Anonymous Mata said ... (3:51 PM) :

that's my friend ! how funny, she used to work for McQueen!
Great shot!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:33 PM) :

I'm 198lbs 5.9 tall and I'm proud to say that I do run in hills (when is really, really, realy... nescessary.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:25 PM) :

Roma? Hospital?)))

Blogger Scale Worm said ... (8:38 PM) :

She is beautiful, and the fluidity and natural beauty of the motion in these shots is beautiful. Thank you for sharing these!

Blogger sydney said ... (10:37 PM) :

This photo says everything how the fashion week is like... :) Watch a show and after 10 min running for the next (and fighting for a cab to get to it)

Best,
Sydney (The Netherlands)
