On the Street.... West Village, New York
The fun of shooting on the streets is you just never know what you will find. If I haven't found anything good in a day or so I really start feeling like I will never get another good shot. Then someone ,like this gentleman, strolls by and everything is right again in New York.
Of course the hat is what I spotted from about two blocks away but I also like the linen suit. i can't decide if i think it is vintage, it could be Yohji but the shoulder makes me fell like it is vintage.

Wow, the hat is simply great. The best item of this look.
Great shot.
You didn't ask him?
What brio! What rakishness! Fascinating how top-button-only seems to work best. What a character. What combinations. What a way to start a Monday!

I love everything, except for the hat.
Who cares about the suit? It's the hat and the great moustache taht got me.
is this guy american? just curious...he almost looks european to me....
I love that one commenter "hates the hat" and the next "loves the hat".
the looks is very "parisian" to me, a simple basic black suit with punches of interest-pink shirt paired with dappled color tie,and the *funnest* hat ive seen in a while.
He looks like he's channeling Monty Wooley -- I like it, I like it!
he makes me think of edward gorey. except i guess he needs a fur coat.
Awesome! Looking at the shoulder line and sleeve cap of the suit makes me believe it's vintage.
He looks a treat!! love the mustache and hat - he looks like he'd be lots of fun!
he looks like colonel sanders in a different crazy outfit hahahaha
SwanDiamondRose, you are genius! the Edward Gorey reference was perfect.
