beautiful suit , great hat
old men are so dapper, i love his colour choice, he is impecable!
What a hat. Famous.
Dashing !!! .....Very well tailored , and the cuff/shirt-sleeve length is perfect
Everything is a tad too long, from the shirt sleeves to the jacket, and the trousers.
Now thats the way you dress up for summer. I bet the hat is a Monte Christo... Absolutely brilliant.
Agree with anon1:06. Also a more contrasting boutonniere would be good - maybe a pocket square instead (because I can't think of a flower that would be the right color).
In other words, it's not impeccable. Very very nice, though.
Wentworth James Ashby Dingleworth, IV, Dartmouth Class of 1955
snazzy!
great spring-summer ensemble .... suit's cut very well
love that hat
who was the tailor , so great
hat is very stylish.... are they making a comeback ??? would be nice
refined.... good cut on the shoulders
I think he's very dapper. I do note, however, a habit of well-dressed older men: they knot their ties loosely. (Perhaps the opposite is also true: they notice that younger men knot theirs tightly!) Perhaps it's due to their penchant for double windsor knots. Who knows? He looks smashing.

the only thing long is the trousers and there should be no break in my humble opinion. i think the jacket and the shirt are in proper lenght
i think his tailor is from panama
The older men dress really well - very impressive! love the hat! great attitude!
grise .... good call on the tie knot ...something that most people miss
Wonderful Outfit...good example of how a well made suit in a classic cut will always be timeless!
Oh you of little faith... his outfit is excellent, the length of shirt and jacket is absolutely fine, even the trouser break could be just right, given that these trousers are not particularly narrow at the bottom and don't seem to break in the back. The boutonniere colour is wonderful - this is a summer outfit, obviously, so combining two light but still contrasting colours is absolutely appropriate.
... and by the way, perfection is boring anyway ...
nice panama hat!
bertie.... what's your problem ??? you are so ridiculous.... what do you know about fashion .... everyone on this site is so complementary
Bertie ..... calm down with the insane rant
cool hat ... love the tie
bertie...get a grip!
love the flower in the lapel
sartorialist, i think you've taken a photo of this guy before, no? perhaps yet another candidate for the sarto-interview? :-) love his outfit. someone commented regarding the longer sleeve/pant length: i have to say, i really like it. elongates his limbs, makes the whole look even more elegant. but also perhaps it's just the fact that it's something a bit different from the normal suit-cut - it's just refreshing. i really do feel for you guys who seem to have so much less leeway in how you change around your clothing. or, just way more criticism when you do.
