Where was the photo taken?

I can't even find words to comment on this guy's look except "Va-va-voom!"

i love the rust pants. very sharp, very dapper

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:31 AM) :

Nice contrast between the jacket and the pants, although I would've picked a tie that's not so close in color to the jacket. Great fit overall, and hey, there's even cuff showing!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:10 AM) :

This guy is a stud.

The grey background makes this shot appear to be a done inside a studio rather than out on the street. Good job. I wish you were shooting my line.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:40 AM) :

He looks great. love how the pants contrast with the blazer.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:50 AM) :

I honestly dont buy the look. It looks really odd and borderline-dowdy.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:10 AM) :

Are those pants suede? Doesn't quite work for me..but I admire the effort.

Sartorialist

What is the make of the blazer?

I love the silhouette of the jacket.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:33 AM) :

Heh, I think this would be considered a "scroll down" by the Go Fug Yourself girls...

Blogger ML said ... (11:47 AM) :

It's so nice and playful with the rusty orange pants.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:17 PM) :

Great look. I love the windsor knot and the T.V. square. I can't say I like the trousers, olive green would also look very good with this combo.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:21 PM) :

uhhmmm....no

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:46 PM) :

Great look - have you published this picture before? It looks very familiar. Maybe it's the guy I recognize.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:53 PM) :

This is an excellent example of a short jacket that looks great and is balanced very well with the wide of the lapels, the width of the tie and the size of the shirt collar to compliment the wearer.

Blogger seawallrunner said ... (1:49 PM) :

very dapper with a hint of whimsy.

he could be a banker, or an art director. a very different suit, if you see him sitting down vs standing up.

well done

I have shot this guy before at the same location (just outside the Vacca store on Fifth)

it is such a perfect backdrop.

I believe the pants were cords, which is a nice way to mix formal/casual

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:34 PM) :

very nicely tailored blazer damn!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:45 PM) :

A different tie would've helped.
As would a more dashing pocket square.
To me, I see somebody experimenting with his confidence levels. Right now, it looks like he was confused leaving the house - not really confident he could pull off the job right but ready to try something different.

Nice effort though.

i love this blog!

Sartorialist, is the coat by Vacca? Originally I thought it might be Borrelli but then I noticed the pockets.

Great look and nice to see some cuff!

Blogger FishrCutB8 said ... (4:41 PM) :

Great look. That jacket FITS, and the pants are bold. One thing: lose the whatever-that-is-in-your-front-right-pocket-thing...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:29 PM) :

It's SOOOOO nice to see the color with navy!
Very creative and well done !
I would wear this look in a second- it's such a refereshing take on a navy blazer look.
Bravo!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:40 PM) :

Does he work for Vacca, like the other Filipino guy?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:11 AM) :

I like the whole look, except for the color of his tie and the mobile phone in his pocket.

Very nice Blazer....admire the bold choice of colour with the trousers.......Trousers are a bit on the narrow side, but overall great outfit!

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:39 AM) :

No, no, no to rust pants! Ever!

Nice blazer, though.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:28 PM) :

great picture great fit great look
guy let's not confuse Domenico Vacca with....Borrelli> it is like to confuse a Ferrari with an Honda!
great job sartorialist.

Blogger Her Henna said ... (5:29 PM) :

That outfit is hot. Well done.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:20 PM) :

wow, i REALLY REALLY dislike this look. I'm a big fan of daring trouser/jacket combinations but this one is completely off. This photo almost looks just like the one you took of him months ago (which I didnt like his look back then), but it's like somebody clicked on his trousers and turned it rust orange in photoshop. It almost doesnt look real. I like the trousers by themself tho, they would go well with quite a few items in my closet.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:11 PM) :

i love this guy's look...tailored, bold and 4 me..simply sexy.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:51 AM) :

great great look

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:51 AM) :

I kinda look like this guy. We have a similar build and face shape, including the bald head. It's good that I see him here a lot.
