On The Street.....Summer Dress/Cover-up #3, NYC

If the last white dress/legging/white bra controversy got you -then this look is really going to send you over the edge.

Obviously she is wearing this (vintage?) dress as a cover-up, she was on her way into the park on a Sunday afternoon. What really throws this look into overdrive ,and not being just a typical sunbathing throw-on, is that the shoes match the onepiece(?) underneath.

No leggings in this look! I give it two thumbs up!

For some reason, when the underneath item is meant to be there -- not like the bra which is just *supposed* to be there -- then I'm ok with it... I like this look, at least the top half. I'm all for the contrasting (white or blue or otherwise) camisole. Or the the little bit of non-bra frill peeking out somehwere. I'm not a fan of plain ole underwear being paraded around as outerwear. Waist up, I like this look. From the waist down, this pic is... dunno, just not right.

The dress is cute and the lack of leggings is appreciated (I haven't made it to the store yet to get my own).

I think this absolutely works, while I found the similar white dress worn with black leggings underneath to just look off.

Love her hair, too!

i love the contrast between the white and royal blue. in this case, the contrast is unique, not tacky. and i really like that dress!

what is she covering up?

I'm not a big fan of see-through dresses, unless if I'm in the mood for "seduction" - cause that's what they are for, right?

Her dress works just because the underneath matches the shoes, and men just love to stare women who wear this kind of dress ;)

N she looks like Salma hayek!

The look reminds me in a away to the propositions of D&G for this summer season. Therefore, this girl's look is absolutely in. But I have to admit: I do not like it. No class in it ...

Like everyone else I like this look so much better than the previous one... It feels so much more original..

This looks cute and thought through, instead of "Woops I forgot to check myself in a back light before I went out".

The person lying on the lawn behind the main subject in this picture has rolled up his/ her jeans. Is that a fashion statement or just something to facilitate the tanning of the lower leg?

i love this - her hair even compliments the look!
NYorkers are so chic!
