On The Street...Scalloped-Edge Coat, New York

The cold snap we have had in New York the last two days has fed my need for scarves!

Certainly a lovely, delicate coat, but it's difficult to appreciate when it's coupled with such an overpowering scarf.

the coat is lovely, but the shoes are really fabulous!

I feel like she shouldn't be wearing open-toe shoes with a coat and scarf...as beautiful as they all are.

I agree with diana: The shoes are fabulous. Wow!

I agree with Diana-shoes are fab with great legs too.

so ladies, what does standing pidgeon toed mean- as opposed to how this woman is standing. Or is there no meaning...

I don't mind the naked leg and a scarf, I think she should have gone for a more delicate scarf to keep it all in balance. And yes, those shoes are marvellous.

I am swooning over this look. And I don't mind that the scarf looks a bit heavy; the color keeps it "light."

The shoes!!!!!

pigeon-toed = toes pointed in, like little kids often stand. this woman = toes pointed out, like fully-grown adult often stand. not sure if you were confused about the actual meaning, or just the interpretation....

This is exactly how everyone in Paris wears their scarf, one end through a loop.

Wondered why the coat in May, then I read the caption.

Lovely coat. Undecided about strappy shoes with the coat, though.
