He looked totally dandy. Personally, I really like the shoes!

The guy at the right is looking good, hard to se the fit of the jacket, but it looks good open.
And isn't the guy att the left, the Italian man from earlier?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:32 PM) :

I could not get beyond the matching tie, suits and shoes to see there there was no crease in the pants!

Blogger Elizabeth said ... (1:42 PM) :

I'd never have noticed that, as I was compelled by the shoe choice (brilliant!). Thanks for pointing it out. What a great look.

And the ties. Brilliant.

isn't the gentleman on the left side the one you have already fotographed for "style cue part 2 'scusi'"?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:47 PM) :

He's with the old guy from the recent past postings.

I really like both of their shoes!

Blogger Unknown said ... (8:03 PM) :

Interesting to see the brown shoes with the dark pants.

The suit / shoes combination is perfect. Is it just me or is the pairing of a navy suit and a Brittish tan oxford a coupling made in heaven? A black shoe always seems so harsh and a brown shoe seems a tad provincial. No?

I like the shoes! This is a lool you see very often here in Milan. Business look 'alla italiana'.

The tie....the shoes...

Swoon!

That's Carlo, the travelling tailor from Saint Andrews suits. I've met him a few times in Sydney.
He is always impeccably dress.

dissent: to me, they look somewhat unkempt, and although shoe choices are good they are utterly uncared-for! plus the right man's tie violates Sartorialist's maxim that Italian = longer back piece; in fact his front is a little too long (the opposite of the usual mistake).
