it-boy of the it-bag said ... (10:54 AM) :
post a commentDitto. He has well developed personal style, one that I cannot claim to be dear to me.
Like the bag though.
Did you happen to ask him if the lapel pin had personal significance?
I like the close up so we can see the detail. He's definitely got his own style.
nice tie!
I WOULD KILL FOR THAT BAG
looks like Bennett Weinstock, a decorator from Philadelphia. this is one of his more tame looks. always colorful, his wife seems to always be in a black jumper...
I like the subtle show of pattern on the pocket square. And that's quite a bag he's got there!
In case people don't know, that lapel pin features a stirrup (from an English saddle), and a snaffle bit, which is part of a bridle. His pocket square also indicates a love for the equestrian life. Perhaps he's leading a double life as a show-jumper on the local circuit at weekends. Just a thought.
those glasses are awesome
Can't ride the bus on this one - It's like telling Tom Clancy he looks good in military drag...
If that is an Hermes bag that would explain the affinty for all things equestrian.
it is Bennett Weinstock, and for him, it is tame. Bennett is a terribly collorful person, both in style and persona, and always well turned out.
Thats typical Bennett Weisntock!!! And Bennett is one of the very few of the truly nice gentlemen in the industry.
lapel pin, pocket square, and bag all appear to be vintage Hermes!
