Isn't that Marcello Mastroianni guy from the other day with him?

So good but the double shades are taking away from it.

...all do respect to Mr. Rashid (I loved his exhibit with the mirrored tables) but for me, his look says: "I'm a designer and I do what I want". Great attitude yet sort of cliche.

Very Courreges!

Gosh, the photo itself seems like an amazing moment. Decked out design royalty mushing along the streets of NYC on a spring day - wow. Sartorialist, you are amazing.

Sartorialist, Rio De Janeiro edition?

am i the only one who thinks his pants are worn a bit too high?...

The other man in the photo is Canadian photographer George Whiteside. And everytime I've bumped into George with Karim, he's always wearing all white and totally obscure labels. Which are, perhaps, a necessity, seeing as where else are you going to find modernist white clothing for a man who absolutely towers over the rest of us? Both lovely gentlemen.

george whiteside? wow. i did shoots with him 20 years ago. didn't recognize him. and yes he is a nice man.

What's with the pigeon toed stance? Is it the next big thing?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:44 PM) :

you can just tell he is wearing who he is..a little tight in the crotch though!

Great photo! Two of my favourite (fellow) Canadian talents.
