On The Street.....Chelsea, NYC

I love the mix of references in this look
-Tiny, English School Boy navy blazer and crisp white shirt
-Exotic print high-waisted skirt
-All-American Converses with bare legs

This makes me think of what a Dries Van Noten secondary collection would like. With that hair, studious glasses and messenger bag draped across her shoulder can't you just see her walking down Dries runway.

Oooh, much love. I'm totally copying this look for this spring/summer.

I love this look. And finally, no leggings! The youngin's should be taking their que from this fabulous girl instead of last's year edition of Teen Vouge.

The whole outfit screams fabulous-without-effort.

The look doesn't work for me. It has an ill-fitting rather than intentional look.

Can one wear this out in public? It reminds me of the 80s, when I would put on mismatched pieces to try to pull together a look, but this doesn't seem flattering.

i like it too. i wish i could dress like this. but it never works for me.

it's a wonderful look. she comes off as cute and intelligent without looking like the pretensious hipsters that are all too common today. i absolutely love this.

It's a lovely look, I don't think it's unflattering at all, or trying too hard. An outfit, in my opinion, can only work on a person if it looks like you don't think abot what you're wearing AFTER you put it on. And she has that going for her. Plus I love seeing glasses on girls- it makes me feel less nerd-of-the-week :)

cute cute cute! i was going to say i wish the jacket was a bit more nipped at the waist, but on second thought, i really like that it's not. i'm starting to get sick of seeing that nipped waist everywhere.
