On The Street...Some Kind Of Wonderful

I have a hard time trying to find the words to say how much I love her look.

Color, pattern, texture, old and new - I love the men's shirt with the dress and the patterned jacket.

This is how you "look young" without dressing young.

Wow. You could plunk this woman down in any major capital - London, Beijing, Paris, here (NYC), L.A....she would look great, anywhere.

I love that you love this. Me too. Such a gleeful way to go about! Fiesty bright patent heels would send it from wonderful to sublime - just that droplet of something fancy as a foil. And you are so right about how to look young, especialy when you're not - conventional pieces imaginatively treated. (But let's do be selfish and keep that our secret from now on.)

that's alpana bawa isn't it?

That IS Alpana Bawa! The dress is from her Spring 2004 collection. Love the look!

It's great to see such individuality on the street. Her look is unique and it defies categorization. She's wearing color in a happy way and is dressing to please herself. I wish more people would be brave enough to dress according to their inner-voice, as opposed to copying the trends and fads of the season.

Wow. This woman is style. Superb, sublime. She would be the best dressed woman here in Milan.

Saluti.

so colourful-so spring!

Actually, she looks young cos she is dressed young, and I love it. And I'd love to be so cheerful. And yes, you have to be brave to put it and wear together.

The scarf is tied in such a way that it looks like it's eating her head, and that shirt so does not go with the rest of the look (not in a good way, either, like the red and fuchsia together). The rest is fun.

I wish I had that look waiting for me at home. Totally beautiful, just how I like it.

she did it just right! i think she was one accessory (either 1 more or one less) away from it being wrong, though...
she pulls it off and knows it...the confidence pulls it all together.

This is my first time on this site and WOW you get some amazing shots. This one great, the colors are bold but not clown like...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:46 PM) :

She looks like she just ran through a field of tulips on a beautiful Spring day.

Blogger Quail said ... (6:13 PM) :

She's my colour hero!
