On The Street.....Mario Testino's Nephew?, NYC

What stopped me about this look ( besides my guess that he is some how related to Mario Testino) was not the velvet jacket, or the cowboy boots ( definitely not the boots) or even the neat neck scarf, it was the giant leather Michelob gym bag!

You know this already, but you have a fantastic eye for people - for characters.

Great blog, I'm hooked (and woefully out of fashion, clearly).

We need a west coast edition... one that shows what the cool outdoorsy types could do to be individualistic in their (ok, our) high performance fleece.

Where was this shot taken?

Has everyone forgotten Altman's Prêt-à-Porter? (For better or for worse?)

People should quit fastening the bottom buttons of their sport jackets.

But word to the bag.

I usually like the clothes on this site, but those cowboy boots make him look an absolute tool.

I am certainly no fashionista, but I am very, very scared by the imagery conjured by this sentence.

This is a very interesting photo. These items - the velvet jacket, the snake cowboy boots, the scarf - should, when combined, create a disaster. Yet somehow he pulls it off. The total is greater than the sum of the parts.
