Comments on "My New Favorite Book - Henri Cartier-Bresson"
Great call on HCB. I have had one of his photo books for many years and it is fantastic...i use to it quite a bit for image reference in my paintings.
Is that Samuel Beckett on the cover?!
You know, Beckett looks exactly like you'd expect him to from reading his work.
Envious, me! We're surrounded by HCB stuff here at home.

Cartier-Bresson was the first pthographer I got to know at school....simply extraordinary. Though I like Sartre's portrait the best...
Henri Cartier-Bresson was really amazing. The composition, atmosphere, art and story of his photos is unmatched.
His books are the best. And you're right, there are just too many amazing shots to list.
What a face-what a photoe!
