post a commentI totally agree.
Well done indeed!
(don't forget the shoes)
Excuse the foreigner asking: What's Easter Parade about?
I dont think this outfit cuts it. Looks like a smorgasboard of stuff from the bottm of the closet.
Beautiful modern looking suit- the skirt is gorgeous! Pretty pearls and terrific bag!
She is great, the main archivist at the Condé Nast photo archives, and she is a milliner who makes all of the hats she wears herself!
This foreigner also wants to know what the Easter Parade is all about! (I just know it from the Barbra Streisand movie... :-D)
The skirt looks new - there are so many of them around in Holland these days, and I'm getting SO tired of people wearing them with cowboy boots... But fortunately, this lady has a totally different take, and she looks fab!
I'm pretty sure the Easter Parade is just an excuse for people to show off their fabulous Easter bonnets and other spring fashion.
She is divine all over, the quintessential example of Best Dressed at the Easter Parade. From hat to shoes. Divine.

Flipping fabulous. Those sleeves really caught my eye, as well. Such an elegant, gorgeous look.
amazing
Please know that that the lady in the photo is not only a Curator at the Conde Nast archives, she is also a miliner in her own right. Yep, she made the hat herself. Her name is Gretchen Fenston, for the record.
that hat is phat
Thanks for identifying this young lady- I will try to let her know about this post. Maybe I could do another, more in-depth post about her obvious great style.
I just looked at the jacket again...
Was this a felted jacket? If so did she make that as well?
And that sleeved shirt I am coveting...
Yes, indeed!
The sleeves poking out from under the jacket make it look interesting.
