Comments on "Bergdorf Goodman Walk Through - 3"
The layout of the ties makes me feel like I just walked into a candy shop. Very nice!
i love the green and the orange sport coats. is the orange one cantarelli? the green one looks like one of the neopolitan brands but it's just hard to tell with one picture. also i love the ticket pocket addition.
I have a question.
I'm a student here in New York who loves fashion and tailored clothing and especially department store interiors and displays but probably won't have the money for anything in bergdorf's for quite a while. For me, the place is like a current fashion museum full of inspiration for thrift-store shopping and homemade clothes.
Is it polite to just walk in there and check everything out with no intention of buying anything?
Bergdorf's can be a little intimidating for some people - but if you're dressed well and make it clear to the sales people that you're just browsing, you'll be fine. If you don't want to be bothered by sales people at all, go to BG during their sales, which usually offer discounts of 60-70% at the end. Those usually draw a good crowd and maybe you could find something at a reasonable (not necessarily "bargain") price. The BG private label collection is of excellent quality.
