Brunello Cucinelli, Fall 2006 Preview
Cucinelli projects as a label for an older customer ,than say Slimane/Dior but as you see in the photo below Brunello can absolutely be put together in a young hip way,
Personally I don't wear much black and I like to play with a little color so this look is a great way to have a slim young silhouette while not succumbing to the New York blackout.

Nice and subtle... A little color popping out of a a black ensemble looks smart.
I love that coat, anyone know where to get one similar for $400 or less?
Great looking coat! Seems a lot of folks would give an arm and a leg for a slim peacoat like that, but I bet that one really does cost an arm and a leg (and maybe an organ too)
Sure- check out eBay or visit a Goodwill or Salavation Army. Vintage peacoats pop up there all the time.
Dear sartorialist-
Please give me your take on Brunello Cucinelli.
I went into the store on Bleeker and I just didn't get it. Is it Italian classiscal chic?, it is luxe, but the clothes seem large-sized and how would someone stylish and a little more fashion oriented, who wants a taste of this look incorporate it into his wardrobe?
The pea coat looks similar to this year's (2008) Banana Republic tri-blend model. Retails for 250, goes on sale for considerably less--a real bargain.
