Alexander McQueen, Fall 2006... He's Back!

When McQueen is at the top of his game, is there anyone better?

I once interviewed the fashion directors of Saks, Bergdorf and Neimans, I asked which were their two or three favorite fashion shows of all-time, each one mentioned a different McQueen show among their favorites.

The Asylum, the Wind Tunnel, the Dance - Alexander has created some of the most memorable shows of our generation.
Fall 2006 show with Kate will go down as The Hologram, chalk up another for the ages.

Dear Gucci,
Cut Alexander McQueen some slack, Bottega is up and going, run Tomas Maier ragged for profits and leave Alexander to create the physical form of our dreams.
