Comments on "Patrick McDonald at New York Fashion Week"
That's more "fop" than "dandy," wouldn't you say?
I was thinking more Danfabulous!
That might work in NYC but nor in DC
You must understand, people like Patrick lend a fresh look to an otherwise stale fashion scene. Men like him make it possible for 'straight' fashion to inch forward... so that we can wear orange ties with our charcoal grey, or floral patterned shirts with our black suits. His living (or at least dressing) on the edge gives us less gutsy guys a chance to do our own thing satorially without looking out of place. Cheers to Patrick!
Amazing outfit, but I'm just not a fan on the drawn-on-eyebrows look. My friend does hers, and half the time she ends up looking like a startled cat (she def. disagrees).
I've asked Patrick about his eyebrows, and he says they were inspired by Liz Taylor.
Living canvas, that Patrick. Sweet man, too.

He kind of reminds me of Mr.Pearl.

This is what I like to say color-abuse.
I am at a loss for words though I appreciate his courage
Like you, I am drawn to the eyebrows (and the sideburns) the look would not be the same without these two elements.
I think it yells confidence and it's quirky, why not!?
