Anonymous Marisa Alma said ... (10:01 AM) :

Modern preppy outfit on a retro bike. Cool. Whoever came up with the idea of helmets on bike riders, was an enemy of fashion. She looks like summer.

Anonymous Greg said ... (10:13 AM) :

love how she is ALL the colour in an otherwise bland scene...

Blogger Fashion Faux Pas said ... (10:15 AM) :

I love the fact she isn't stick thin and has great curvy, makes her look like a REAL woman.

Blogger Nomadic D. said ... (10:15 AM) :

Raowrrr... she is so hot! In such an effortless doesn't-need-to-try kind of way. Perfect. The prowling predators seem to think so too...

Anonymous CRAZY BEAUTIFUL said ... (10:17 AM) :

mmm.... sorry but is she wearing anything under the dress? isn't it a bit too short for a bike ride?

Blogger Yasmin Hassegawa said ... (10:21 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:15 AM) :

Sorry, but her dress is way too short for biking. But the bike itself is awesome.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:22 AM) :

There really is something so alluring about her.

Anonymous Mandy said ... (11:27 AM) :

I really love her shirt. However, I do think its too short for biking too.
I feel that that in itself takes away a bit of the classiness she could otherwise have had.

Other than that, she's gorgeous.

Blogger amelia said ... (11:27 AM) :

love! but i do hope she's wearing something underneath her short short dress...

Blogger Unknown said ... (11:33 AM) :

I would never have noticed her if I saw her passing by on the street. The photo's make it more special than it actually is (I think)...

Blogger Hotelissimo said ... (11:33 AM) :

so cool, i love the belt...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:43 AM) :

Flip-flops are a fashion no-no with any outfit; they are a letdown to any look. All that THWAP-THWAP-THWAP...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:50 AM) :

That shirt is very 80's. Nice bike.

Blogger Foodies said ... (11:52 AM) :

Is she wearing anything under her short dress?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:55 AM) :

Lovely colours, but it is frankly too short for a dress. A pair of capris would have been a classic, summery, finishing touch.

Blogger Marcel Da Chump said ... (11:58 AM) :

I just realized:

I must have been comatose,

by drop-dead gorgeousness.

Blogger Milica said ... (12:00 PM) :

Cute! Love the outfit and love that bike!

Blogger Mel82 said ... (12:02 PM) :

I love the colors, the belt, the purse, the charming red bike. I like that she is curvy and showing it off.

Her flip flops are killing me though!

Blogger J.Ro said ... (12:09 PM) :

She's the reason God created summer.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:12 PM) :

I admire her confidence, but pants--even very abbreviated but visible ones--really are our friends.

Anonymous tagatha said ... (12:12 PM) :

Whoever came up with the idea of helmets on bike riders was probably thinking more of safety than fashion.

Blogger LOST IN VOGUE said ... (12:19 PM) :

I love her! That bike, the shades.. the shirt. I just wouldn't wear it alone (or with flip flops). I'd feel too naked. But that's why she's there to lead the way right?

Just a Silhouette

Blogger Yajaira said ... (12:31 PM) :

love the plaid shirt - cute

Blogger MeryMeli said ... (12:49 PM) :

I love the photos, the look is very simple :)

Welcome to the Gam show is what those guys are thinking! Summer Heat in effect! BAM! Oh yeah.... cute bike, sunglasses, love her earings... :P :P :P

Blogger John B Pritchett said ... (12:55 PM) :

The photos are hilarious! Top photo looks like sharks (the men) circling their prey (the girl) BUT she has a confidence about her that (bottom photo) she won!

Blogger Sil said ... (1:04 PM) :

All those guys lokking at her legs... so Italian!

Anonymous FashionIndie said ... (1:05 PM) :

Very cheeky, she pulls off the summer spread of colors twisted retro with a bright red bike, very cool.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:14 PM) :

The footwear brings back memories of scraped toes and unpegged flipflops, but I think male onlookers will be the true casualties of this bike ride! - Jean

Blogger Jayde A. Cardinalli said ... (1:35 PM) :

This reminds me of Mariah Carey circa 1995.
Butterfly necklace, bare thighs - looks like an California girl.

I don't love the outfit, but I do love that it reminds me of being young.

Anonymous s said ... (1:42 PM) :

love the colours ;D

Blogger Annie Chang said ... (1:44 PM) :

dandy photos! adore that red bike!

Blogger Jodi said ... (1:58 PM) :

I like to think that she just came back from a swim. She may be wearing a swimsuit underneath, which makes the look very appropriate. She looks effortlessly sexy.

Blogger ash said ... (2:22 PM) :

all these beautiful people on bicycles! ...if only they made fashionable helmets :(

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:23 PM) :

I'm a bicycle geek, love this kind of petit urban bicycles, all the look outfit+bike is gorgeus

Anonymous Juanita Bonita said ... (2:41 PM) :

So gorgeous! Effortlessly chic and endlessly cool :)

Anonymous Lu said ... (2:47 PM) :

Not seeing it. The dress is short in the isn't-there-something-missing way rather than the cheeky-risqué-hot way and is all kinds of wrong for cycling. Apart from the popped collar and belt I don't see much of note.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:50 PM) :

I think these two photos say a lot. First photo, men circling around her like prey, second photo, like the cat that swallowed the canary. She is obviously very aware of the effect she has on men.

Blogger Ivano Bellini said ... (3:11 PM) :

bellissima :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:19 PM) :

I wish I be the saddle

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:30 PM) :

Vibrant, saucy look in the madras shorty dress...the intrigue is whether or not the shorts exist underneath (of course they do...??) or her time would be very short on that seat. Great legs though!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:32 PM) :

She is darling what cute knees. She obviously feels good about herself. I always look for plumpish (compared to the models) girls on your blog ever since the time you drew attention to a not so skinny woman: after following 5 years and seeing people with a great "look" and no mention of body type.

I'm 59 today so I'm going share a thought.

We all need to spend more time in South America to learn to feel good in our skins and have less opinions about other's. At 53 a change came over me on in Argentina. I met a softly shaped grandmother on the beach with her grandchildren, in a thong bikini building sand castles. Sand castles are so symbolic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:37 PM) :

I'm not a fan of flip flops
this woman is ridiculously pretty and sexy in a very nonchalant way. I shudder to think of the number of fender benders and accidents she caused on this day.

Blogger Paul said ... (3:39 PM) :

Blogger Nicole L. Rogers said ... (4:33 PM) :

i love her belt, but agree that she should be wearing something underneath this short dress. She is a cutie, though!

Blogger Marie said ... (4:54 PM) :

So pretty L(

I'd be scared not wearing any shorts underneath... so daring. You go, girl!

Anonymous ANITA said ... (5:36 PM) :

I really loved her style. But just wondering... is there any shorts?

Anonymous jdit said ... (5:38 PM) :

Wow Scott...
If you were to have drawn or sketched her no one would believe such poise and posture. All lines, from those of the seat bar of the bike, the sign post and the bollard beside her, make for a breathtaking sense of linear perfection.

2nd pic)
Stunning as she is - when my lover is in the throes of tying up her hair like that it transports me...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:55 PM) :

I could easily swap teams for this one :P

Anonymous Helen said ... (6:24 PM) :

She reminds me of Lola in the Italian film "Frivolous Lola".... in the opening scene, Lola rides her bike with her skirt blowing up and the man following behind her can see... well, you get my meaning. Scott, if you haven't seen "Frivolous Lola", I think the combination of bicycles and Lola will definitely entrance you!

Anonymous Andres said ... (7:50 PM) :

Sexy! American girls just can't compare.

Anonymous Mike said ... (8:38 PM) :

She's naturally and simply sexy, and she knows this. She's so beautiful that I don't care and don't even see what he wears.

Blogger ADJ said ... (9:04 PM) :

Thank you for depicting a woman with a real body. She is gorgeous!

Blogger Jennifer said ... (9:24 PM) :

Blogger joseph said ... (12:36 AM) :

So Sexy; love the outfit

Anonymous andrew scharf said ... (1:42 AM) :

This photograph of the woman in movement of the bicycle is fresh, sexy, and dynamic. The madras print shirt dress captures the summer zeitgeist in the best meaning of the Ivy style for a contemporary woman. the fact that it is shot in Milan is no surprise. Italians have a way of taking an American theme and giving it their own distinctive voice.

Blogger Via Roma 1 said ... (1:54 AM) :

the shirt is lovely, but she looks like she forgot to wear her pants, and I don't find it's the ideal outfit in town. Just a tiny bit longer, and she would have avoided being trashy.

Blogger Madeline said ... (2:05 AM) :

Love how coyly she's putting on a show!

Anonymous mon sac by me said ... (2:06 AM) :

Naturel colored !!!!!

Blogger The Sunset Goddess said ... (3:01 AM) :

question, when you take the pictures of the people, do you ask for their permission? :)

You really love girls on bikes! Cheers! :)

Anonymous Camille said ... (4:09 AM) :

Funny, my mom had a summer dress with a similar pattern back in the 80s. What goes around comes around, right?

I like these shirt dresses, but lately, these dresses have been getting shorter and shorter. Or maybe, it's not a dress to begin with, but an actual shirt.
In any case, my first reflex every time I see the short version of this dress, I can't help but think: "Oops! The girl forgot to put some pants on."

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:28 AM) :

She forgot her shorts? Milan is a city, she's not at the beach but she doesnt' seem aware of it....

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:50 AM) :

Gorgeous, voluptuous, stylish, sexy, natural.....

Blogger Julia Bolchakova said ... (7:58 AM) :

This is a wonderful shirt - but it's not a dress. And she is a beautiful girl, but she forgot to put on leggins.

Blogger Meena Dhuga said ... (11:07 AM) :

she looks great!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:39 AM) :

The belt around her waist makes the look- creates the curves. Good choice to flaunt it.

Anonymous BeBe Jones said ... (1:00 PM) :

Anonymous Cindy said ... (1:37 PM) :

She is on her way to the beach - and has a bathing suit under her tunic, yes? ; ) So lovely. Reminds me of me when I was younger ...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:24 PM) :

Totally sweet upper thigh tan line in the first pic. Yum.

Anonymous Julia said ... (9:11 AM) :

seems to me that this so called short dress is not enough for complete look. doubtless, the girl is gorgeous.
and lovely tatoo on her wrist

Anonymous katie said ... (5:58 PM) :

looking fabulous

Anonymous Bohemian Trends said ... (10:51 PM) :

Love that! She is so pretty!!

Anonymous Ruslana said ... (11:32 PM) :

I wonder how many accidents she caused due to passing motorists looking at her instead of the road ahead.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:21 AM) :

Sexy? Yes. Stylish? No. This looks like the Italian version of Tommy Hilfiger working for GUESS = the opposite of cool.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:54 AM) :

Too much skin. Seems to be crying for attention.

Blogger lollipop4598 said ... (2:08 AM) :

She is probably wearing shorts under the tunic. But Im not sure what the point is of asking for that information. I doubt that Scott looked under her shirt. She looks cute, and she does very well dressing for her figure type, keeping the proportion correct.

Anonymous Bill said ... (8:33 AM) :

Great colors!!

Blogger Unknown said ... (1:13 PM) :

Thank you for the inspiration. I had no idea what to wear today until I browsed through your recent entries and saw this.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:21 AM) :

There's nothing wrong with how she looks, I don't reckon it's brilliant or particularly inspiring though.
Bike is fantastic. Photos are great, but if executed with less quality, could look trashy very quickly.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:31 AM) :

Far too short for my liking and particularly when riding a bike. That's why those men are looking at her, not because she's they think she's beautiful. Looks skanky to me.

Blogger Stu said ... (9:14 AM) :

there is something enchantingly beautiful about a pretty girl in a pretty dress on a pretty bicycle.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:04 PM) :

This looks like an actual men's shirt that she's belted and styled, not an out and out dress. I do hope she's at least wearing hot pants under it, because flashing one's lady bits is never, ever sexy or stylish. I also want to pipe up in defense of the flip flips - I love how casual and easy they are and sometimes they are the perfect shoe choice for an outfit.

Blogger ktmo said ... (6:43 AM) :

i have almost no fashion rules, and love to go around breaking the ones that still exist, but i would no sooner wear flip flops in public than i would my sweat pants. and i'm from LA! yet I still have the wherewithal to leave my sloppy pj things at home. i know it's summer, but all the flip flops...i'm afraid people are going to start wearing their terrycloth robes and rubber soled slippers around. slippery slope.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:13 AM) :

Looks like a Kardashian. I dunno, must be the huge sunnies :)
