I love the blue coat! Very stylish and elegant ;)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:22 PM) :

Really? I'm actually starting to find this collar cut a little dated. It's a bit too trendy - I don't think it can be called classic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:00 PM) :

so handsome i wish straight men in nyc dressed as well

Anonymous CBC said ... (10:01 PM) :

Love the all blue look with the check shirt, indigo tie and matching blazer suit....

Blogger Liz S said ... (1:02 AM) :

Traditional but very nicely done.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:32 AM) :

Blue is such a strong colour and both look very good! I especially like the double breasted suit, but do not like the combination with the white "handkerchief".

Anonymous Fashionthroughtravel said ... (2:30 AM) :

Blue is my favorite color without a doubt! But I prefer the longer type of collar on a shirt instead of this very horizontal cut. Nevertheless they look so stylish!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:39 AM) :

Really very nice - but I´m not sure if the collar in the first picture fits properly...

Blogger Unknown said ... (4:45 AM) :

There is always something slightly disturbing about camaïeu (dressing in various shades of the same colour): it always works, almost by definition. It's always elegant.

But let's face it, it is BO-RING too, no?

Anonymous Jelanie said ... (5:03 AM) :

Blue is this season's color.
I do really like wearing your watch on the right hand.
I'm wearing it this way too.

Anonymous proletarian Great Gatsby said ... (5:06 AM) :

I want a Ives Klein Blue suit too.

Anonymous antique engagement rings said ... (5:47 AM) :

I love the classic look on men!

Anonymous Marcela said ... (6:09 AM) :

The all blue look is great. I think that any man can look good in a suit if he does it properly, and I find that the all blue look is very elegant. It is not as serious as black, and not as relaxed as brown or caramel or any such colour.
They look dashing.

Blogger Anna said ... (6:11 AM) :

Very nice!

Anonymous discount laptop keyboards said ... (7:43 AM) :

IT SEEMS THAT BLUE STANDS FOR melancholy or sorrowness in west culture! From these people's expression, it seems right! but they are all handsome and charming so i like this blue!

Blogger Madame Chic Bcn said ... (8:06 AM) :

Woooow! They look really gorgeus!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:14 AM) :

I love the location of the monogram in the second pic.

Anonymous Marmota said ... (8:27 AM) :

Anonymous psh said ... (8:46 AM) :

cool blue & cool Summer!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:49 AM) :

very handsome! would be interested in the shoes they're wearing... brown? black?

Blogger RHW said ... (10:21 AM) :

Nice Cartier on the first gentleman.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:27 AM) :

Great! In the first picture, the suit neck looks too tight, otherwise great. The second picture is perfect, maybe one link less in the watch bracelet.

Anonymous Maryanne said ... (12:09 PM) :

navy..a trend in women's apparel as well.
it makes sense..after the flood of khaki.
fashion still flirting with military colours.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:48 PM) :

These blue hues are deep, rich and alluring. The men look fabulous without screaming attention to themselves.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:55 PM) :

In my honest opinion this is the best kind of suit ever. A slim cut suit with the correct shade of blue can be worn at any time of year and will always look smashing.

Does anyone know what brand/tailorhouse made this suit?

Blogger Unknown said ... (3:14 PM) :

I love to see lighter blue suits in the summer!

Blogger cigalechanta said ... (1:19 PM) :

I notice, the men prefer spread collars.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:59 PM) :

He looks like a well-dressed academic. May sound like a contradiction in terms, but not always.

Anonymous Cintia said ... (3:34 PM) :

Your men looks are always great.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:05 PM) :

Wow. These men appear to wear the color so....comfortably. Ah...European fashion.

Blogger Katrin said ... (6:13 AM) :

love that picture. you´re a great photographer

Anonymous said ... (3:44 PM) :

Genuinely fantastic, I love wide-spread collars for a start. Then there's the small knotted tie and the double-breasted jacket, thankfully it's well cut otherwise it gets rather silly very easily.

Blogger Clarissa McIntyre said ... (2:15 AM) :

Love the handsome older gentlemen's intense eyes. Oh.....and the blue is nice as well.

Blogger Gucci S. said ... (9:05 AM) :

So chic !xxxx

Anonymous Nancy said ... (11:28 AM) :

Amazing suits, amazing guys, love everything in these pictures

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:35 PM) :

Great shots, great blue suits.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:52 AM) :

What color blue would you say this is? Would like to get a suit similar to this- thanks in advance.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:14 PM) :

Scott, are both of these suits cotton?

I find the double breated suit in cotton to be very interesting. These are both great choices.

I have no problem with blue, as long as it doesn't get worn every single day. There are too many men that wear blue as a standard "work" color, and never deviate. These genetlemen however pull it off elegantly, and I would stand behind these looks. The collars are both great, as well as the hanky.

The only detail that bothers me is the man in the first suit could have a slightly larger tie knot to balance his proportions a little better, but that is only worth mentioning if we are being really picky.

Anonymous Sartor Resartus said ... (3:46 AM) :

THE Italian look. Thye both do it very well. It can be very mannered, and ultimately repetitive and somewhat sterile, but it is elegant and has style.
