She looks awesome in this look. I think I'll wear it exactly like this, too, but I would then change the shoes to some more feminine flats.

Blogger Luciane at said ... (8:57 AM) :

Wow.. I really like it! I'd wear different par of shoes bc I'm not tall as she is, but since she's very tall, it's a great combo.

Anonymous Tracy said ... (9:35 AM) :

Being a person most comfortable with a sporty-chic style (and similar hair) I would love to be able to pull this look off.

Blogger Caddy said ... (9:43 AM) :

Oh how Chic! She's totally owning that look!

Anonymous marcela said ... (9:44 AM) :

She looks elegant and confident.
Perfect look
It takes a very self assured woman to pull off those shoes.
my internet was slow and it took me a long time to see the bottom half of the picture, and from the knees up she looks very stylish and feminine with the shirt and the neckless and that grey hair. But when i saw the entire look than she came across as confident with and edge like she knows what she is doing and doesn't care what anybody else thinks.

Anonymous Best of Beehive said ... (9:53 AM) :

Love the streak in the hair. Very good blend of feminine and masculine dress.

Blogger Lenita said ... (9:55 AM) :

great! fantástico!

Anonymous Maryanne said ... (9:55 AM) :

it's the definition of the waist that makes this look work.

Blogger CAPITAL THREAD said ... (9:58 AM) :

That looooong belt! and the haphazardly turned up pants is a bit Oliver - beautiful!

Blogger Rachael said ... (9:59 AM) :

I love this outfit!! And the streak in her hair is it!

This makes me want to go out and buy some loafers.

Blogger Jeanine Reyes said ... (10:07 AM) :

What makes this outfit so great is its combination of femininity and masculinity. The green trouser like capris look masculine but when paired with the right style shirt and adding a chunky necklace makes its feminine! Great picture!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:07 AM) :

OH MY GOD! Love everything!

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:08 AM) :

Nobody puts baby in the corner

love the hair and the shirt - nice look!

Blogger Natalie said ... (10:27 AM) :

I adore everything about this photo! Her amazing, wild hair, the shirt and rolled up pants and the shoes ... what a timeless look. Nothing androgenous about it - just a confident, modern, comfortable woman. *love love love*

also 'lol' @ 1410's comment. ;)

Blogger scram. said ... (10:27 AM) :

Now THIS is a great look. How do people like the guy below get off considering themselves fashionable when transcendent women like this are walking around in the same city? Something about the wilderness of her hair makes this look seem at once traditional and subtly anachronistic. Good color scheme/story/whatever + proportions. The asymmetrical necklace is a great touch as well.

Blogger disco in moscow said ... (10:27 AM) :

love everything!

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:31 AM) :

lovely and chic!

Blogger Mel said ... (10:34 AM) :

She wears this so effortlessly which makes it so chic! Love this.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:39 AM) :

The collar, the collar, the collar! I love a big, up-turned collar on a woman. Way to demonstrate that hair does not have to be "polished" to look fantastic. And usually I *HATE* loafers, but these are appropriate. They are there with a purpose instead of looking like a lazy-person's alternative to bedroom slippers. She's wearing those loafers the way women have been wearing oxfords of late. The necklace just seals the deal on a great outfit - it looks like it's made of liquid pearl. Um HM! You be killin' em babe.

Blogger Twenty.Something said ... (10:42 AM) :

Terrific. So laidback and cool... love it.

Anonymous unnurösp said ... (10:43 AM) :

She looks beautiful. (But I do now have "Come On Eileen" stuck in my head... :).)

I too find this photo the most compelling of any of your's yet. And I don't know why... the hair? The simple details done so right? The beautiful necklace? The rolled up sleeve, the rolled up pants. Again, attention to the ankle and the wrist. A little bare skin? Maybe all of these things, and the fact that she is beautiful, and has a great waist accentuated by the belt. You said before that it is always great to accentuate your good points.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:49 AM) :

This is one of my favorite shots. The sunlight is perfection against her hair. She effortlessy captures her look. Indeed it seems she's not even trying, and this simple outfit ends up looking better than any head to toe "designer" outfit.

This is a photo for the ages...the crisp, clear details of this lovely creature against a soft, muted background. The way she bisects the street and the buildings...the way her pants pick up the green of the hedge to the left, and her shirt picks up the rose of the building behind her. One of your very best, if not the best. Bravo.
