Un saludo,

Blogger Kathleen said ... (9:18 AM) :

This is a great photograph. Takes me back to the Punk years. Have they ever really stopped? Answer?, no. At the age of 52 I am still drawn to the military boot and one of the days will buy myself a pair. Why not I say.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:18 AM) :

such a great shot!

Anonymous The Pleat said ... (9:21 AM) :

This angst-y look just brought me back to memories of my boyfriend. In the 90's! Love it, brought a smile to my face:)

Blogger comme fraiche said ... (9:25 AM) :

Blogger Emily said ... (10:08 AM) :

great look! would have loved to see his face though!!

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:42 AM) :

The jacket is potentially interesting but rather difficult to see, sadly.
I like the contrast with the skin on his legs, too.

Blogger jackie said ... (11:31 AM) :

Hmmm... interesting

Anonymous Tina said ... (11:40 AM) :

No(t just) style, but lifestyle..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:40 AM) :

the push biker look!

Anonymous yoyoyoy said ... (1:00 PM) :

the head looks like cole mohr?
but his hair is rainbow coloured now so...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:15 PM) :

Great hair--and I love the angsty punk nod to spring and sunshine!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:22 PM) :

...and I thought fashion was supposed to enhance your appearance...

Blogger CINCHED AT THE WAIST said ... (1:53 PM) :

a whole new meaning to cropped layers.

color contrast is amazing in this image,

Blogger anthony said ... (2:09 PM) :

Weird stuff. Nice jacket, lost in its own folds. The shorts jut out nicely.

Anonymous LolóRey said ... (2:11 PM) :

l love the whole style, this is just awesome to me...
Totally love it....

Anonymous Amy Creyer ( said ... (2:14 PM) :

he looks like he could be a Rick Owens muse. Love the stitching on the back. Glad you captured it this way.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:21 PM) :

is this fashion? this is rather about making a statement.
nice, he's not bothering about "what they think", I like that

Blogger CAYA said ... (2:34 PM) :

Ahh, it is starting to get interesting here on The Sartorialist

Anonymous RafaelsCreative said ... (3:04 PM) :

However, the boots kick ass!

Anonymous Key said ... (3:12 PM) :

What we don't see here (a face) adds so much interest. Maybe it's a boy, maybe not... (those furry legs are kind of a giveaway though).

Blogger TheStreetFashion5xpro said ... (3:30 PM) :

absolutely love your street style...
dear Scot great pic as always

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:39 PM) :

i appreciate all styles... preppy, punk, grunge, high-end socialite, etc etc... but all of these styles can be done well and done poorly.

this guy does his style well, however, i'd lose the socks.

Anonymous jdit said ... (7:27 PM) :

Teddy Boys, Mods, Punks, Waivers, Iggy, Patty Smith, Buzzcocks, The Dolls, McClaren - The music, art, fashion attitude, counterculture and then the wave of influences. Good to see at least the dynamic and brilliant visual audacity of it all is still alive and well!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:24 PM) :

seems to be owning his style and bracing to walk into the sun.

*tall girl

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:56 PM) :

Nice legs!

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (11:05 PM) :

I have seen this coat in a second hand shop for 4 euro's.

Anonymous philcat said ... (2:22 AM) :

oh, I would like so much to see second side

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:29 AM) :

real street style again! love the layers and the cut of the jacket and the haircut makes me want to see him from the front. so much better than photos of emaciated hangers and "fashion mag" editors.

Blogger THE PURSE FORUM ADVISORY said ... (6:49 AM) :

I wonder if the jacket isn't Alberto Aspesi?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:51 AM) :

Skin is back. Awesome.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:03 AM) :

cool photo sart

but lawd have mercy somebody give that boy a sandwich...or FOUR ! :P

Anonymous Melanieee said ... (11:49 AM) :

I understand the whole biker/ tough guy thing, but that's not my style.

Blogger Unknown said ... (12:37 PM) :

Great picture, well done!

Anonymous 54th & 1st said ... (2:37 PM) :

The thing that stands out on this photo is the paleness of the lad's legs. I, too, am pale and face the dilemma of whether to wear shorts during the summer. Fair play to his confidence.

I'm not getting punk from this look though. I remember tartan being the punk look-du-jour in the 70s, not black. Oh well, roll on the warmer weather.

Anonymous Abby J. said ... (5:05 PM) :

I love the style and how much inspiration is in a simple black outfit. But the bare legs..not so much :)

Anonymous Noah said ... (6:27 PM) :

Definitely not punk. Industrial Gothic perhaps if I was to label it. All of us kids who wore all black, doc boots, and listened to NIN in the 90's are now around 30 and designing clothes. He looks like my best friend in high school in 1995, yet completely current. Its the direct line from Helmut's biker pants to modern day Rick Owens. Goth glam has returned.

Blogger Daniel Nielsen said ... (11:24 AM) :

I wish i could see the front, but it looks awesome anyways.
i love the rolled up leggings thing hes got going on, really cool.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:41 AM) :

i like the lines/seams on the jacket

Blogger Román Iglesias said ... (11:16 AM) :

Palid and Mugler style... sooo great!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:48 PM) :

Blogger Unknown said ... (7:47 PM) :

Always fond of a dark look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:19 PM) :

You don't have to post this but I love your readers!

Blogger b said ... (4:02 AM) :

great picture.
it would be nice to see his face.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:58 PM) :

He looks like Nick the V from Mad Decent.

Anonymous Harry Dix said ... (6:39 PM) :

what a lad.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:37 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:23 PM) :
