Absolutely gorgeous! One day if I have a daughter I would absolutely want her to dress like this little girl. Its so rare to see young girls dressed so elegantly and age appropriately! Let this be an example to all those young girls that want to grow up too fast and opt for skin bearing options! This proves true elegance can be reaped at any age! You've got an amazing eye Scott - keep it up :)

It is SO NICE to see a young, well dressed girl. Where i live, the national uniform for girls aged 6-25 is short-shorts or black tights as pants, ugg boots or thongs and singlet shirt with exposed bra.

She looks absolutely adorable. Well done her and her parents!

Blogger janu said ... (2:20 AM) :

Its a very creative ensemble: the shoes and socks go very well with the three quarters trousers against the backdrop of an unusually long cardigan!

Blogger Star said ... (3:46 AM) :

As said by others, she's so perfectly dressed and so suitably for her age. Thank you for this heartwarming picture, which breathes much needed hope for the future.

Would like to see honest serious discussion about definitions of 'beauty' that go further than easy "s/he's rebelling" explanations. Why, for example, do beautiful delicately featured women plunk heavy ugly 1950s men's eyeglass frames on their faces? What's so attractive/fun/expressive about looking scruffy and dirty?

'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,' I know, but I'd really like to understand what's behind such choices, if possible.

Thanks!

I love this and I especially love the fact that it is completely age appropriate and still the individual personality just shines thru w/o rushing to be a grown up but enjoying the simplicity of BEING A GIRL!
Lovely Post.

I wanted to cry with joy when I saw this photo. If only more little girls dressed in such a personal and expressive way. I see far too many in clothing that only advertises their sexuality in a disturbingly precocious way. She is such a delight!
