Wonderful typography. Some images are BEST in black and white.

Blogger GINGER FASHION MONSTERS said ... (3:10 PM) :

How wonderful! We really don't make enough effort with hats anymore...I mean, who would even consider using a hat box nowadays? And yet it's just a sign of respect for the quality of your clothes.
Such a fun display!

Blogger Flor said ... (3:11 PM) :

Very nice hats, I have owned a straw Dobb's fedora with a snap brim for 10 years now. I wear it at picnics in the summer mostly, but its such a great thing.. One of many things lost of the way of a gentlemen hats are.

When I was a little girl, a man wouldn't consider going out of the house without a hat on. These photos are beautiful and very nostalgic.

Anonymous Bespoke Shirts said ... (5:16 PM) :

These are just special...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:46 PM) :

So beautiful. So nostalgic, it makes be want to have to wear a hat again, just to leave the house.

Blogger green lantern said ... (7:13 PM) :

Felt hats! Wide, medium or stingy brims! Thank you the plug of civililty. Don't you just love those 1940-50 photos where masses of men were in hats? Love it!

Simple, clean, yet decorative = high impact.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:11 PM) :

Very cool. Both make me wish I had a head for hats. Alas, I do not.

Blogger cinema quote said ... (10:19 PM) :

everything calls for perfection. the typography, the color scheme and the tastfull display.

Anonymous Bronwyn said ... (8:50 AM) :

Oooh, lovely hats, lovely boxes.... Do they make them for women, too?

Blogger Jazzbuff630 said ... (9:24 AM) :

I love the graphics on the boxes. Real "old school" - like a real haberdashery should be. This ain't Macy's men's department.

I have a bunch of wonderful Hilditch & Keys ties - veddy British. I love Savile Row style.

Anonymous fabrica said ... (1:22 PM) :

brilliant packaging! makes me want to go shopping.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:14 PM) :

Isn't this kind of packaging luxurious and go into a shop and just see boxes...Then you ask for a certain hat and they have it! I know a shop like this in Seville!

Anonymous blog mode said ... (2:28 AM) :

I love this kind of large hat :)

Anonymous Corner Store said ... (4:41 AM) :

Love these hats so much.

Blogger Woody said ... (1:59 PM) :

Got to say - I bought a rolling panama from Bates' in Jermyn street, and very quickly it deteriorated to the point that I'm scared to roll it again. I know how to look after hats - always rolled it the right way - but the straw has not been well conditioned, and the hat is too dry and brittle.

Blogger Unknown said ... (7:18 PM) :

OMG I'm from Panamaaaa its such an honooorr seen my country's name in here so loviing the hatsss <3

Blogger Vivian said ... (7:46 AM) :

a well made hat is so beautiful, sometimes its the downside of mass production that we forget the real beauty of hand crafted items

Blogger eunicebee said ... (10:24 AM) :

I love these; so classic. Black & White at its best :D

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:47 PM) :

All that for a hat. Love it.

Anonymous Rob said ... (1:48 AM) :

Surprisingly H & M carry a very stylish Fedora! (And at a price where anybody could afford to dress a little bit better than they need to!)

Blogger Kathleen said ... (11:30 AM) :
